"he's going to be fine" he chuckled

The female smiled as she listened to the pair interact, listening to Chaka babble at his father.

Taka handled their son well, reaching out worriedly every time Chaka tried to move around, the large male dwarfed his son in size and strength but it didn't appear as such, with Taka being overly careful.

Vera smiled as she listened to her mate and their infant, cooing softly. Chaka babbled and managed to climb his mother to his father, grabbing onto him.

Taka chuckled at his sons babbling, giving soft calls.

Navera smiled as she listened to Chaka babbling, the infant opening his eyes and staring up toward his father, grabbing onto his hand.

Taka chuckled nuzzling Vera softly, reaching out and gently touching Chaka.

"He will grow to be as strong as you" She cooed to her mate, "I can feel it" She said, nuzzling the infant softly.

Taka pressed his forehead to her shoulder gently, returning her calls.

Vera nuzzled close to her mate, calling softly and she cuddled close to her mate, letting their newborn nurse greedily from her.

Taka looked over at his mate and Chaka, smirking a little proudly as he moved to pull Vera into his lap lovingly.

She sat up as he did, yawning and stretching before she cradled Chaka, whom seemed much stronger than the day before, she cradled the infant close as he nursed.

Taka pressed his forehead to hers possessively, before moving to sit up with a grunt.

Vera woke as she felt her mate pulling her close, looking a out groggily.

Taka awoke early, before the keepers had arrived, yawning loudly and pulling Vera close.

Vera nuzzled close to her mate and infant, cuddling up to him and she let herself fall asleep.

With his mate and child close and safe, Taka allowed his eyes to close with a yawn that bared his large canines briefly, before drifting to sleep.

Vera pressed close to her mate, nuzzling him and cooing softly, pressing her forehead to her mate's while Chaka was between them.

Taka smirked at his mate and Chaka, reaching out to pull Vera close.

Vera leaned into her mate softly, smiling softly as she listened to Chaka giving quiet babbles.

Taka looked over at Vera as he laid down, running his hand over her gently, before stretching out onto his side.

Vera eventually returned to her mate, sitting beside him and she softly laid Chaka down, stroking his face softly.

Taka allowed Vera to have some space, the male laying heavily down with a loud yawn.

Vera seemed much more comfortable when itw as just them again, with the troop inside she could move about the enclosure and keep Chaka close, letting the infant see his new world as she carried him.

Taka chased off a keeper when they came, instead of herding the two into the tunnels, the keepers locked up the hollow tree, seemingly willing to allow them to stay there for the night.
