Survival (Spain)

Carrie jumped at the sudden noises and scowled as it chased her rat away.

Goldie limped after a rat, trying to leap at it but letting out a yelp as she ran into a wall.

She sniffed her way through the building, pawsteps quiet as she followed the trace of a rat.

She watched her for a minute before she started searching again.

Carrie smoothed her bristling hackles and went in search of a ray of her own.

Goldie winced as she pushed herself up onto her paws, limping in the direction the rat went, "Damn" She growled lightly.

Carrie jumped in surprise at the sudden noises, whirling around to see Goldie on the ground.

Goldie spotted a rat when it ran in front of her, she tried to run after it but she put too much weight on her sore leg and she yelped, her legs coming out from under her and she tumbled to the ground.

Carrie followed her in, sniffing the air.

Goldie limped into the building, looking around and searching for rats.

Carrie sighed inwardly, wrinkling her nose at the thought of rats, but followed obediently.

Goldie limped along, sniffing the ground and heading for a building, "There's always rats here, we should be able to grab them" She said.

(We can suffer together)

Carrie didn’t say anything, just following Goldie and keeping a wary watch out.

(I'm catching something too at this point, my throat is getting scratchy)

Goldie sighed as she limped toward the buildings, keeping her back leg up, "I hope the catcher doesn't come around... It'll be hard to get away" She sighed.

She frowned but followed after the older dog.

(I’m sick, tho )

"Its not that I wont, its that a lot of humans poison trashcans" She sighed, "And they make too much noise when you knock them over" She said flatly, limping out of her den, "Come if you want, but you'll be learning the right way to survive if you do" She barked.

(It was my birthday on the 1st My present was that laptop I asked for but didn’t actually expect to get and wouldn’t if it hadn’t been my sixteenth birthday. It should come in today )

She huffed. “Well, I can’t help get you food, because you won’t eat out of a trash can.”

"The less you eat, the weaker you are, food is essential out here" She frowned, "Unless you think you can help somehow" She grunted lightly.

Carrie frowned but didn’t have a response to that. “It’s not like I need to eat every day.”

"Well you arent going are you" She sighed, stretching slightly.

“But you’re hurt,” Carrie protested, pausing in her stretching.

Goldie stood and gave a light sigh, "I'll see if I can go find food" She muttered, still keeping her weight off her back leg.

She got up and stretched, yawning again.

Goldie stayed where she was, scratching herself lightly, the rope still around her neck.

She blinked at Goldie.
