A Cat's Only Payment [Stormwind]

"Really?" The young she-cat jumped up and purred, looking to her father.

Lark pinned his ears back when he looked over at his sleeping mate. Did he really want to interrupt her sleep...?

“...let’s go, quickly,” Lark mewled, standing up and giving his pelt a quick grooming.

"Oh..." She said quietly, glancing toward where her mother lay, "Should we wake her?" She asked.

Lark smirked and shoved Lilium playfully at the suggestion. “Because,” The tom purred, “if we got caught, I’d be in just as much trouble with your mother as you would be.”

"Why not just go?" She pouted and whined, her tail lashing about.

“We need to ask your mother, but I’m ready to go if you are and she says yes.” Replied Lark, standing up and giving his shoulder a quick grooming.

"Can we go now Daddy?" the young she-cat asked excitedly.

“She might, especially if somebody comes with you. I’d do it for sure, and Scout or Blu might help out as well.” Suggested The tom, smiling softly at the excitement in his daughter’s voice.

"Really? You think Mamma will let me go?" She asked, growing excited at the idea of going outside.

“Of course it is!” Lark Replied with a purr, cuffing his daughter’s ears playfully in retort. “Especially for you, love. You could see the outside soon!”

"Is that a good thing daddy?" She asked quietly, her ears drooping lightly.

“You’ve gotten so big,” mewled the tom between purrs, enjoying his daughter’s grooming immensely.

Lily purred as she stayed close to her father, the young she-cat was larger than her mother, and nearly her father's size, the young female slowly stood and sat with her father, grooming him and purring.

Lark marveled to himself at how much Lily had grown, the younger she-cat now almost full size as he held her close and groomed her.

Lily cuddled up to her father, purring and leaning into his touch, the young she-cat was still fairly sleepy as she groomed him back.

Lark smiled to himself, continuing to purr and wrapping his forelegs tightly around Lily as he groomed her gently.

Blu gave low snores as he slept, purring softly.

Lily gave a soft squeak as she was moved and she mewed softly, cuddling up to her father and purring.

Scout purred loudly, having no intention of moving from between the pair of dozing cats he was sandwiched between.

Lark pulled Lily over to him, starting to groom between her ears and purr softly as he did so.

Blu curled up within the pile, he couldn't help dozing off.

Lanx was already asleep, twitching off and on as she slept.

Scout purred loudly, covering Blu’s cheek in licks.

Eventually, Lark awoke, finding only his daughter in the nest with him.

Blu chuckled and held his mate close to him, his tail lashing softly.

Scout smirked, purring softly. “It’s hard not to be when it’s you two I’m with.” The male flopped down next to Blu, wrapping his forepaws around the other male and hugging him close. In the meantime, he repositioned Lanx so that his back was pressed against hers, the male snuggling with both other cats.

"You seem content" Blu teased his mate, purring as he watched him.

Scout eventually pulled out of Blu, stretching before padding in a circle around the pair of other cats.

Blu panted and continued nuzzling his mate softly.

Lanx stayed in a pile with the toms and purred loudly.
