His words just caused her to cry harder and she curled up tightly, a trembling ball of dark reddish-brown fur.

"Pineleaf, just let me be your mate. What we did wasn't lust, it was love. Right?" He licked her neck since she turned her face away.

Pineleaf turned her head away from the tom, squeezing her eyes shut as she continued to cry. She had just lost her mate, how could he tell her not to cry?

"Pineleaf, please stop crying. It hurts seeing you so miserable." He reached his paw around and wiped the tears away. When that didn't work he began licking at her eyes, lapping the tears away as she cried.

Not even Black could comfort Pineleaf, and the said she-cat continued to sob her heart out.

Black instantly swarmed up to her, wrapping his body around her and holding her close, humming lightly. "Shhh, don't cry. You're not alone."

She stares at him for a moment before crumpling to the ground, burying her face in her paws, her heartbroken sobs echoing around the clearing.

Stormfur shook his head when she didn't move and lowered his paw. "I hate you, Pineleaf. Do you hear me? I hate you." With that, he turned around and walked away, casting an evil glance at Black.

She trembled violently, staring into his eyes. She couldn't recognize the cat before her. This was not Stormfur, not really.

"Well, are you going to prove your love to me or not?" he purred, trailing his claws from the tip of her ear down her face to her chin, lifting her eyes up. "I want to slaw your ass to shreds, just so I can add to the damage your new tom friend did back there already."

Pineleaf backed away, her ears flattening and her tail going between her legs. "W-what?"

Black stared in shock at the scene, not sure what was best for Pineleaf. He saw Stormfur grin darkly and approach Pineleaf, sadistically enjoying her pain. "Why don't you just turn around and stick that pretty little ass of yours in the air," Stormfur said as he lifted his paw and unsheathed his claws, making them glint in the moonlight.

Pineleaf pressed herself against the ground, tears in her deep green eyes. It was clear that he was already hurting her, but she just laid there and took it.

He laughed bitterly and spat at her when she looked away. "The only thing that would make it up was if you let me hurt you, Pineleaf. And we both know you won't do that."

She flinched, looking down at her laws. She didn't even know what she could possibly do.

Stormfur acted as if Black wasn't even there. He slammed his paw down and snarled, "Then prove it. As if you can."

"But, I do love you!" Pineleaf cried, agony clear in her expression and voice. Her world was shattering into tiny pieces right before her eyes, and she doubted it could ever be fixed.

Stormfur began pacing back and forth, snarling under his breath. "I've done everything I can...I loved you, I still do! But it's clear you don't love me back." He whipped around, yowling over his shoulder, "Fuck her however you want to, Black. Rub your cock all over her for all I care."

"I'm sorry," Pineleaf whimpered, rolling over onto her belly and staring at him miserably. "One thing led to another and-" she cut herself off. She had no excuse.

Black scrambled off of her and sidestepped away until he was facing both cats - both officially mates.

Stormfur trembled violently, betrayal and hurt swarming his eyes as he stared at Pineleaf. "How could you?" he whispered.

Pineleaf closed her eyes, trembling violently at the thought of what Stormfur might do. StarClan, please...

In a panic, Black tried to jump forward off of her, but he tripped and ended up smothering her in between his hindlegs, and Stormfur walked in right at that moment, and his snarl echoed across the clearing.

Pineleaf froze, hearing and scenting Stormfur. "Quick, get off!" she hissed so that only he could hear.

He playfully used to paw to flick at her ears, bringing them upright again. "Are you worried Stormfur will retaliate?" he asked softly.

As though the words had summoned him, Stormfur's pawsteps became audible to the pair as he walked towards them, not yet knowing what had taken place.
