Taka yawned and laid down on his stomach, chuckling and laying his head next to Chaka in his mate's lap.

She pressed close and cuddled up to her mate, smiling brightly as she felt Chaka crawling into her lap.

Vera gave a soft sound as she nuzzled close, nuzzling her face to his chest.

Taka turned and pulled Vera close, pressing his lips against her shoulder.

She nuzzled the male softly as she leaned toward him, grooming him happily.

Vera continued grooming the male, listening closely to their baby.

Vera had calmed their baby and was letting him play in her lap, she looked in her mate's direction and softly reached to him, feeling about his fur as she started grooming him.

Taka returned to his mate after a few minutes, he laid down with a yawn.

Navera rushed over as she heard her baby, she bumped into her mate but retreated away as Chaka climbed onto her back and clung onto her, ignoring the younger females whimpers and attempts at apologizing.

Taka ran forward warningly, beating his chest he moved so he was standing over his son, grunting dangerously at the female.

When at the rest of the troop, a young female tried to grad at Chaka to examine him, the young male whined and tried to retreat to his father.

Chaka slowly slid off his father, bounding around and he tried to wander farther away, he could see the rest of the troop and wanted to see who they were.

Taka was hesitant to take his son too far but was walking him back and forth near his mother, keeping his pace slow.

Vera stayed in the shade where they had been, glad her mate and their son were bonding.

Chaka continued clinging to his father as he looked about.
