We’re On An Adventure (Stormwind)

Lady finally went limp in his grasp, ears drooping in defeat.

Newton waited silently, patiently behind Lady. He felt The she-cat squirm around a little in his grasp, but he was hardly about to let go of her.

Lady shuddered slightly, letting out a rather pitiful whine as Newton’s words conjured up an image of him touching her core, causing her to grow aroused.

“No you’re not.” Newton Mewed simply. The tenacious tom was sticking to his usual tradition of ensuring every need of Lady’s was taking care of, no matter how ridiculous the request. It was the least he owed his best friend.

“Tell me what’s wrong. You know I’ll help.”

Lady tried to curl up into a ball, feeling sorry for herself. “I’m fine!” She half-wailed.

”Lady?” The tom huffed as he held the she-cat closer. His expectant gaze bored into The she-cat from behind. Clearly, he was going to need a real answer this time to be satisfied.

Lady barely held back a pitiful whine as the tom pulled her close to him. While normally that would be fine, she’d just been having dirty thoughts.

“You’re hiding your face,” The tom Mewed bluntly, starting to groom her again. “Are you getting cold?” In case that was the problem, Newton pulled her body even closer to his.

Lady made a vaguely questioning sound, flattening her ears as she willed her blush to go down despite it not being visible.

Newton stopped his licking, shooting a concerned glance down at Lady when she hid her face. “Lady?” Mewled the tom questioningly, his blue eyes full of compassionate worry for his best friend.

Lady hid her face in her paws, utterly embarrassed.

Having no way of reading Lady’s mind, Newton continued to groom the top of the She-cat’s head, licking behind her ears as well.

Lady blushed furiously underneath her pelt when she realized what she was thinking about, her thoughts having drifted into the realm of ‘I wonder what it’d be like if Newton and I mated.’ They’d been going there a lot lately.

Newton took to grooming the top of Lady’s head, wondering what the She-cat was thinking of as they cuddled together against the dropping temperature and falling snow outside.

Lady drifted off into her thoughts, which was the only thing she could do to occupy herself. Or so she thought; it’s not like she’d ever contemplated mating with Newton (lies! XD).

Newton thought for a moment as he watched the snow outside, trying to come up with something to cheer them up.

Lady sighed and rested her head on her paws, staring at the snow sullenly. At this rate they were never going to make it to the Clans.

Newton shook his head, indicating he had no idea. “Best get settled in,” Mewed The tom with a sigh, watching as the snow started to stick to the rocky ground outside in the few taillengths one could still see with the snow falling as heavily as it was.

Lady frowned at the snow now as she was reminded that it was an impediment to their quest. “How long is ‘a while’?”

Newton sighed softly, watching as the snow began to fall faster and faster outside, the number of flakes in his view at any one time growing exponentially. “I think we might be here a while, “ murmured the tom to Lady, comfortable as he shared warmth with The she-cat.

Lady curled against his side and just watched the snow fall. It had only been a couple of hours since they had woken up, so she wasn’t tired at all.

(*ponders* Maybe they first mate while they’re stuck because of the blizzard)

Newton frowned. “Let’s hope it clears up soon...” The tom trailed off when he saw the look of wonder in Lady’s eyes. The tom relaxed, pressing his side against hers to share warmth with his friend, and tried to let himself be overcome with the same wonder. It had been some time since he last saw snow, too.

Lady stared at the snow with wide, awed eyes. The last time she’d seen snow had been when she was only a couple moons old, too young to remember it.

Newton followed Lady as deep under the boulder as he could fit, turning and pressing his pelt against hers as they watched the snow start to fall around them.

Lady struggled after him, reaching the overhang only moments after him. She collapsed with relief once she was out of the powerful wind, just breathing for a few moments before scrambling to her paws and heading as far back as she could, away from the inevitable snow.
