This Is Wrong But It Feels So Right (Stormwind)

"Hey, could you do me a favor and grab some of that moss behind me?" Blackpaw mewed through a ball of moss in his mouth, only needing that last piece to complete his nest.

Swallowpaw blinked once, then looked away.

Blackpaw flicked his tail up, accidentally revealing himself to her for a heartbeat as he spread the moss into a thinner, but still comfortable, layer.

She sat down and watched him, there not being enough room for both of them to work.

"Got it." He replied, finding some moss inside the log already. He set to work spreading it out, unconsciously crouching as he worked.

Swallowpaw tapped one forepaw against the other. "She wanted me to help you make a nest and introduce you to the other friendly cats."

"Swallowpaw." Sterlingflight repeated, confirming he understood. "That's a pretty name." Turning around to survey his temporary home one more time, he mewed "Was there anything in particular Mallowstar wanted you to help me with? I don't know much about your clan."

Mallowstar quickly escaped, going to take care of her duties.

The apprentice blinked up at the older tom. "My name is Swallowpaw," she said cheerfully. "You know, as in the bird?"

Blackpaw dipped his head respectfully to the pair, again thanking Mallowstar graciously for her help. Eyeing the apprentice for a split heartbeat, he could hardly believe that the younger, bright-eyed cat was the same rank as he was. "Thank you again!" He called after Mallowstar, again catching her with one of those fiery looks in his eyes. "And what's your name?" He mewed, turning to the apprentice.

Luckily for Mallowstar's reputation, she was quickly out of Blackpaw's sight, coming back a few minutes later- after giving him time to calm himself down- with an apprentice that looked to be about ten moons, cheerful, and willing to help.

Blackpaw nodded, claws scraping at the dirt, the tom excited and pent up to an unimaginable extent by watching her hips sway as she walked off. All it would take is one false signal from her, and the lust-crazed apprentice would be all over her.

Mallowstar quickly averted her gaze from the tom when she saw the lust in his eyes, fearing she'd lose control if she didn't. "I'll assign someone to help you get settled in," she said in a softer voice than she had used most recently, slipping out of the corner.

Blackpaw looked around the corner for a moment, poking his head into the log before turning back to Mallowstar. "Thank you, Mallowstar." He mewed, dipping his head gratefully to her. His multicolored gaze contained a burning lust when he looked into her eyes for a moment, the tom having to fight hard to resist simply jumping on her and pounding away after two moons of not even seeing her face.

Mallowstar relaxed when he obeyed her, stepping over to him and flicking her tail for him to follow her. She then headed over to one of the corners of the camp, which held the stump of a tree, a bush, and some long grasses.

Blackpaw stopped for a heartbeat, considering disobeying his mate, but finally decided against it and looked around the camp, heart sinking slightly as he had no idea where he could go and at least be left alone, if not welcomed. I really need to take my clan back…

(Lol. It's just an idle fantasy of hers. She'd never want to actually do it)

Mallowstar turned to keep her eyes on him, giving a wary look as she remembered her confession as well. She gave a minuscule shake of her head, trying to communicate with her eyes that she had never had any intention of fulfilling that certain fantasy of hers. She couldn't afford to.

Blackpaw's intention was not to hide their relationship, of course, as he remembered what she'd told him about wanting to be taken in public. What better time to do it than right after a clan meeting, when every cat mature enough to know what was happening would be in the clearing, with their eyes directed at her? He padded up to her, purring softly. "Just hold on a moment." He implored her quietly, padding behind her innocently enough.

Mallowstar turned her head to look at the younger tom. "Yes?" She said, giving him a subtle glare for addressing her in such a familiar way. It wouldn't do anything to help hide their relationship.

Blackpaw caught one of the disparaging glances full-on from an older warrior who was likely a mother to other current warriors, and realized the magnitude of what he was asking them to do. Shaking his head and breaking the malicious eye contact, he mewed out a "Wait, Mallowstar!" The tom struggled to hide a wide grin.

Such was the force of the steely glare that Mallowstar gave her Clan there wasn't even a peep of protest as she jumped off the Highrock, though more than a few cats have Blackpaw sullen looks as they shuffled off to take care of preparing for a strike on LakeClan.

(Ok!).

Blackpaw looked over at Mallowstar, having a hard time gaging the reaction of the clan to his request. A memory of something she'd told him moons ago flashed through his mind, and the warrior-aged apprentice smirked.

(I don't know how to do the explaining and convincing so i wanna skip to right after that :p)

Blackpaw stopped to gaze around the camp for just a moment, already wowed by how tidy it looked compared to the current state of his camp. Quickly, however, he trotted after Mallowstar again, keeping his head low to avoid arousing suspicion.

Mallowstar briefly glanced back at Blackpaw before entering the camp, raising her head defiantly.

Blackpaw pinned his ears back, wondering what he could do to make it up to her as the scent of Meadowclan grew stronger with every step.
