"Hey!" Sterlingflight called over the border at the female, his voice full of distrust.

Silverwish chuckled softly. "When we were apprentices, he got a thorn in his paw once that I had to get out. He wouldn't even let me touch it at first. But when I pointed out a ladybug on the den wall, he didn't even notice when I finally pulled it out."

Lightning hissed and spat curses as she struggled with the bush, eventually pulling herself free and tumbling head over paws.

Rainstar snickered, remembering it. "It was hilarious."

"There," Sterlingflight pointed to the feline struggling in a bush ahead with his tail, beginning to creep closer slowly.

Duststorm warily crept along as well, slowly able to identify the struggling female as they drew closer. "She's on their side," the tom hissed softly, the patrol stopping at the border and watching the stuck female.

Grinning, Silverwish purred a soft "Well, I probably wouldn't have heard that story even if he did talk to me. What a mouse-brain."

Streamfire and Emberleaf halted instantly at Sterlingflight's signal, holding still so that only their pelts gave away the fact that they were there.

Lightning got stuck in one of the bushes and hissed in annoyance, trying to untangle her white-and-silver fur.

Rainstar chuckled, settling herself. "Well, just the other day when we were out walking, he was distracted and actually got startled by a butterfly."

"Possibly." Silverwish purred softly, a smirk on her face. "I don't get to hear much about him direct from the source anyway. Between you and this rogue problem he's too busy to chat most of the time." The female's tail flicked side to side idly behind her. She wasn't exactly looking for details about their sex life, considering the many times the pair had had incestuous sex before Sterlingflight had kits with Rainstar, she knew most of what there was to know already.

Duststorm crept warily trough the forest with the patrol, feeling his blind eye to be a curse at that moment.

Finally, Sterlingflight raised his tail to halt the patrol, stopping the foursome of clan cats with his tail and crouching low.

Rainstar curled her tail around her paws and smirked faintly at Silverwish. "You're just looking for gossip/details, aren't you?" She asked, amused despite herself. She wouldn't be discussing their sex life, though; she just didn't do that.

Streamfire dipped her head in acknowledgment, keeping a careful watch on their surroundings. Meanwhile, Lightning wandered closer, the young she-cat unaware of how close to LoveClan territory she was getting. It was her first time out of the camp without her father or teacher (she'd snuck out; she was her father's only child so he was possessive/protective).

"Thank you, Rainstar!" Silverwish purred, "and congratulations on having such a wonderful, hardworking daughter." The female sat there for a moment, and then, seeing as the leader didn't seem to be busy, decided to try and start a conversation. "How's Sterlingflight?" She purred, sticking her tongue out slightly as she waited hopefully for interesting news, or gossip, about the leader's mate and her own brother.

A growl rumbled in Sterlingflight's chest as he also detected what Streamflight had. "I think it's only the one..." The deputy thought for a moment about what orders to give the patrol. "If you see him, alert the rest of us. All we need to make sure is that whoever it is doesn't end up on our side of the line.

Rainstar smiled. "You have my permission to do so."

Streamfire followed after her father, still eyeing the others' territory and occasionally sniffing it. "I think at least one of them is near here," she eventually announced.

Emberleaf ruffled her pelt, trailing after the other three.

"Well, Rainstar, she's learning even more quickly than I did. If you don't mind, I might like to try assessing her knowledge tomorrow, and then travel with her to speak to StarClan at the Clearing of the Moon." Silverwish smiled genuinely at Rainstar, impressed by how far Willowpaw had come since the medicine cat herself had helped Rainstar give birth to her. "If she does well, I will want to give her her full name."

"So it seems." Sterlingflight replied. With a flick of his head, he beckoned the patrol onwards, his jaws hanging slightly open to try and catch more scent markers in case there were more.

Duststorm's bad left eye was facing the rogue territory, so he stayed to the right of the rest of the patrol, trusting their vision to cover his literal blind spot.

Rainstar focused fully on the she-cat at the mention of her daughter. "What about her?" She questioned.

Streamfire ignored her father's glance in her direction and frowned severely at the rogue group's territory, trying to make sense of the odd scent she was getting.

Emberleaf frowned slightly. "They're trying to encroach on our territory?" She asked, green eyes searching the others' territory.

"Rainstar, I wanted to talk to you for a moment about Willowpaw." Silverwish mewed softly, the confident she-cat padding fully into the den now.

"Foxdung." Duststorm snarled. The Tom's eyes narrowed crossly as he picked his head up from sniffing at a tree root, his blind, milky white eye contrasting with his bright green one, which worked as well as ever. "Sterlingflight, there's a scent marker on our side." He mewled in a louder voice, alerting the whole patrol as well as the deputy.

Sterlightflight snarled angrily, trusting the senior warrior enough to not go and smell for himself. "I wish I could tell which of them was which based on that scent." Sighing, he looked slightly off to the side after an instantaneous glance at his daughter, Streamflight. "Starclan knows they're not all bad."

Rainstar blinked at her medicine cat and tilted her head to the side, wondering what she was so obviously excited about.

Streamfire and Emberleaf were with Duststorm and Sterlingflight, the youngest one on patrol (EL) paying close attention to the more senior warriors.

Lightning was wandering near the border.

(Perhaps we can have the clan and the rogues finally battle soon and reduce that count a bit. )

(As for updates, Oakfoot is torn between settling down and 'settling' for one partner or remaining single so he doesn't have to suppress his bisexuality as much [unless he finds a mate that will accept that part of him], and Silverwish is just on her way to Rainstar.)

Silverwish padded up to the leader's den, wondering if she would find Rainstar inside. The medicine cat had an eager look in her eye, clearly excited by whatever it was she had to tell Rainstar.

Duststorm and Sterlingflight were out on patrol (with one or two of your cats maybe?) near the territory the rogues were contesting, looking for any signs that the lawless cats had intruded on the clan's hunting grounds.

Rainstar ruffled her silvery-gray fur.

Mossflower blinked mossy-green eyes.

Brackenspots wrapped his tail around his paws.

Streamfire groomed red calico fur.

Brookwing yawned widely.

Emberleaf looked around.

Willowpaw sorted herbs in the medicine cat den.

Blossomsnow walked in circles.

Eagle sharpened his claws on a tree trunk.

Mouse, Whiskers, Rabbit, Lightning, and Storm blinked.

"Come with me, Silverwish has news for us." Honeypelt mewled, standing up and padding out into the clearing but waiting for her boytoy to follow her before heading into the medicine den.

Duststorm groaned out loudly as Mossflower dropped forcefully down on him, loving how deep his member pushed inside her at this new angle, his forepaws tucked close to his chest as he looked up at her with his tongue hanging out of his mouth, panting.

Brackenspots jerked awake with a startled squawk.

Finally, Honeypelt padded into the warrior's den, prodding Brackenspots forcefully with her paw.

She groomed his fur meticulously.

Duststorm purred softly as Mossflower groomed him in their mutual afterglow, the tom's cock twitching and still semi-erect between his legs.
