Maple smiled as she watched them, she noticed Night starting to get tired, "Nap time for the little one" The queen mewed, earning a pout from her kit.

He lightly tickled her nose with his tail.

Maple looked to them and chuckled, watching Night play with her father's tail.

Hornet chuckled, flicking his tail for his daughter, his eyes glowing with affection as he watched her. She was a perfect mixture of him and Maple, with his black fur and her mother's bright green eyes.

Night shook herself off and she pawed at her father, squeaking and pouncing on his tail.

Hornet gently bopped her on the nose when he reached her. "Got you."

Maple chuckled as Night squealed and ran away from him, Night squeaked as she tripped over her paws and tumbled into a wall, sitting up and looking around.

He rolled to his paws and chased her. "Get back here!" He said playfully.

Night squeaked and ran away from him, her tail lashing as she played.

He purred, pretending to be knocked over and gently batting at her.

Night bounced around and pounced on her father.

He chuckled, flicking his tail.

She rolled her eyes as Night managed to get away.

He sat down, watching her.

"Okay" she mewed and continued bathing Night.

"I'm trying to get it to be a good distance away so I don't know," he said.

"How long do you think until you break through? She asked him, looking toward the tom.

He glanced back at the tunnel. "It's harder than I thought but it's going pretty well."

"How's it going?" Maple asked softly while giving Night a much needed bath.

About ten minutes later, Hornet exited the tunnel and started to clean his fur.

Maple glanced up as Night bounced around.

He smiled down at his daughter and nuzzled her before going back to the tunnel.

She perked up and nodded, purring and rubbing against him.

He sighed and followed her, licking her ear. "How about this: I'll work for a little longer and then I'll play with you."

The kit whined but modded and moved back toward her mother, dragging her tail.
