We’re On An Adventure (Stormwind)

“We’re looking for the Clans,” Lady said timidly. “We didn’t know this was your territory.”

“You seem tired.” Stoneteller mewled. “I will have our to-bes build nests. But until then,” He mewed, “May I ask why you were on our territory?”

Lady looked bewildered. Her grandmother had never mentioned a Tribe in her stories.

The tom tried to mutter an excuse, but the leader hushed him. “I am Stoneteller,” he spoke, gesturing with his tail to the cave, and this is the home of the Tribe of Rushing Water.

Tribe? was Newton’s first thought, the tom scrunching his face in confusion.

Lady tilted her head to the side, looking puzzled. What are to-bes? she wondered.

(And Lady is only eleven moons, so she'd technically still be a to-be lol)

The leaderly cat seemed unimpressed with the pair who had brought Newton and Lady in. “These are hardly more than to-bes.” His eyes glimmered with slight amusement, while the formerly intimidating tom cast his eyes downwards. “Did you truly believe they could be a threat?”

Lady pinned her ears back, feeling intimidated under his intense gaze,

(Ok!)

The tom that greeted Newton and Lady clearly commanded a lot of respect from the cave dwelling cats, the pair that had discovered them stepping aside. The new tom narrowed his eyes as he gazed at the pair of younger, smaller felines. “Greetings,” He mewed simply, buying himself some more time to study them and determine wether they posed a threat to the Tribe or not.

(It's Crag Where Eagles Nest. This would be the late leaf-fall that The Last Hope happens in, which makes it about nine moons after the visit in Sign of the Moon)

(I’ll figure it out. I have no idea who it is though, relative to the time period we picked for them to arrive at the clans.)

Lady pressed close to Newton, waiting warily.

Newton shifted around as well, more to get a better glimpse at the expanse of the cave than in response to the staring.

Lady shuffled her paws awkwardly, uncomfortable with the stares biting into her pelt.

The tom eventually peeked into a side cavern. Seeming to get the attention of the cat he was looking for, he motioned for them to come out into the main cave to see Lady and Newton.

Lady shrugged helplessly, uncertain. She was actually hoping they weren’t the Clans; they were hostile.

“It sounds like your stories!” Newton whispered to Lady, after his first murmurings had earned a cold glare from the tom escorting then.

Lady frowned, looking around. “I don’t know,” she said quietly.

Newton blinked in surprise when they rounded the corner to find even more cats. The younger, smaller ones like himself were being trained by larger cats, others were eating or grooming one another, but it was more cats than he’d ever seen in one place in his life. “Lady,” murmured the tom, “could this be the clans?”

Lady shivered as the water sprayed over her pelt, dampening it slightly. She carefully watched her footing until they entered the cave, not wanting to slip and fall.

Newton marveled at the sheer size of the waterfall they passed under, his pelt bristling slightly at the feel of the spray on his fur on that side of his body. As if it weren’t cold enough...!

Lady pressed against Newton’s side as they were lead to the waterfall cavern, ears pinned back.

The tom sneered as Lady ducked behind Newton. “These two don’t look like they could be rogues. Let’s take them to Stoneteller.”

The She-cat padded behind the pair of young travelers, goading them to follow the massive tom before them.

Lady tried to hide behind Newton. Having only been wild for about a moon, she still had quite a lot of kittypet sensibilities.
