A Late Jurassic Heart [Ash]

The male gave affectionate grunts and rumbles as he nuzzled his mate, playfully draping his tail over hers, tangling their tail spikes.

Maze called and nuzzled his mate in turn, becoming distracted she turned, facing him and snorting affectionately.

The male jolted back as he watched his mate, snorting softly and he moved closer, nuzzling his mate in an attempt to settle her.

Maze snorted at a female who was grazing nearby, slamming her tail down, almost taking him out in the process.

He nuzzled her back softly and he chuckled, "We'll see" He teased as he fussed over her.

“I disagree” she joked swinging her tail playfully, as she nuzzled the male affectionately.

"I doubt I can teach you anything" He chuckled, "Especially after the last few days" He teased her.

“He is” she agreed, smirking and coming over to rub against him, “are you going to teach me next?” She teased.

"He's getting pretty good" He said as he looked to his mate.

Maze soon woke, after checking on the eggs she waddled over to the pair, barely missing Bruno swinging his tail.

"You'll take me down one day, I'm holding you to it" He said as he nuzzled the other, giving him a playful nip.

Bruno nuzzled the male before continuing to follow his directions, learning.

"You're doing good Bruno, but don't let your anger control your actions, that leaves you open to an attack" He said, swiping his tail and taking the younger's feet out from under him.

Bruno grumbled, the muscle portion of the large males tail often winding the youngster. But clearly determined, Bruno continued to get back up and charge again and again.

Nanuk gave a grunt as he felt the young male strike him, he chuckled and playfully pushed him around, letting the other win often, swiping his tail toward the younger, but purposely missing.

Maze nodded and eased back down, falling asleep again to the sight of her son charging playfully at her mate.

"They seem fine to me" He said, backing off slightly and he nuzzled her, rumbling out affectionately.

Maze nuzzled him in turn, “I’m fine” she told him lovingly, “how are the eggs?” She asked rolling lightly to see.

"You alright? Need anything" He asked as he nuzzled her, checking her over to be sure nothing was wrong.

Maze snorted at her mate affectionately, nudging Bruno with her tail, back towards him, stretching out.

Nanuk nodded and chuckled as he watched he jumped and winced as he chased after Bruno, helping him up and he checked him over, "You okay Maze? That was my fault, I didn't think that would happen" He said softly.

Bruno nodded “thanks dad” he snorted, running and swinging his hips sending his tail flying and himself flying afterwards. Bruno squeaked crashing into Maze.

Nanuk watched Bruno, giving the young male a nuzzle, he knew he wasn't his, but he treated him like blood, "Move your hips with your swing, you'll be able to put more umph into it" He said, nudging the male softly.

Bruno investigated the nest, sniffing, loitering near Nanuk, swinging his tail and mimicking the male.

Nanuk became extremely protective over his mate and their nest, chasing anyone off, only allowing Bruno close, he snorted loudly as he chased another male away, swiping his tail aggressively.
