He frowned and looked at the injured wing, though he squirmed a little at being licked. "I think I know a plant that kills pain if you eat it. Want me to get it real quick?"

"Sorry Frost, its hard to be excited while in pain" He said and gave a small sigh, softly licking his brother.

He walked over to Dark and prodded his uninjured shoulder. "Gee, that's real exciting bro," he said with heavy sarcasm, hoping to boost his spirits.

"Well, there's a passage that leads to a spot where left over meat can be stored" He said.

He nodded, content with the idea. "So is there anything super special with your home? Like any secret places or special objects?"

"We'll share" He said.

He did just that, glancing at every dark corner. "Is there a separate nest for me?" he asked.

Dark went to his large nest and he laid down, wincing as he moved his wing, "Look around if you like" He said.

He whimpered at his brother's refusal so instead he propped himself against his shoulder to provide support. Stepping into the cave, Frost stopped and glanced around with wide, curious eyes.

"Its fine, I can walk" He said and began walking up to the thin passage.

Before they reached the cave, Frost asked, "I could carry you the rest of the way myself. I think I'm strong enough."

He glanced toward the cave, "Ours is a little ways up the mountain" He said.

Glancing forward and upward, Frost saw the cave and nodded to it. "Is that it? Can we walk up to it?"

Dark winced as his wing moved, "Just wait until we get to the cave so I can get my bearings" He said.

"I can do that!" Frost chirped confidently, bouncing up and down then stopping as he felt the broken wing move. "Just tell me where to go and I'll go get a healer. I won't let you down, Dark."

"Broken wings heal with time" He sighed, "But you have to set the bones back together, it'll be harder with a dislocated wing though, unless we find a healing Dragon" He said, his tail lashing.

"But..but do broken wings heal? What if you can never fly again?" He cringed at the thought, knowing how much his brother loved to fly.

"Dont worry about it, its my job to make sure my mate stays uninjured, even if I injure myself" He said.

"But it is! I was being stupid and I fell, and now your injured like this because you had to save me. What kind of mate does that make me?"

Dark flinched as pain shot through his wing and he winced, "It isnt your fault" He said as he walked.

Not able to bear to watch the wing being drapped, Frost dipped underneath it and lifted it on his own back, being as careful as he could. "I'm so sorry," he whimpered.

"Lets just get to the cave first, I hate being on the ground" He said as he began walking, painfully dragging his wing.

Frost stepped back and panicked, not having a clue at what to do. "Dark, what should I do? I don't know how to relocate your wing!"

The larger Dragon winced as his brother touched his wing, "Feels dislocated too" He said and growled out as he tried to fold his wing, Dark hated being grounded, he felt weak when he was on the ground.

He instantly saw the deformity in his wing and nuzzled it gently. "Your wing...it's broken," he whispered, terrified for his brother now.
