Raised In The Jungle {Storm}

Theo suddenly noticed how quiet the surroundings had become. The animals had all either scattered or gone quiet. That meant... The deer cocked his lever action hunting rifle, scanning the surroundings with extra vigilance as he followed a small stream through the jungle, hoping to find it's source and get some clean water for himself as well.

Masha just had time to take a breath before being tackled under the water by Larik. Coming back up a second later, the wolf greeted him happily with a tail wag and a lick to the cheek. "It is, though I would have preferred to find that out on my own," she teased.

The lanky jaguar stayed in the shadows as best he could, he glanced about as he reached the clearing, he had heard word from the other animals that man had returned again, and that an animal like him was something humans went after often, he crept out to the water and began lapping up some of the water, glancing about often, prey animals having already scattered with the predator close.

Larik ran to the river and smiled as he saw the wolf pack, he ran toward the pack, spotting his friend and he tackled her into the water, laughing as he came back up, "The water is great Masha!" he called.

Theo cut his way though the jungle with a machete, beads of sweat and precipitation covering his body as numerously as the cuts and scrapes across his tattered clothing and lavender fur. He had been set to poach a rare albino jaguar known to be in the area, and had entered the jungle a week ago with a small team. However, they had been betrayed to the local authorities by one of their own, and Theo had only managed to grab the essentials before he had to flee the camp as the police and game authority arrived. Now he was alone, and though he looked weaker than normal, he was still prepared for a fight, as shown by the rifle he carried in his off hand.

Masha, a young female Mexican gray wolf, drank gratefully from the lake. She and her pack had been on the move plenty lately, dealing with more and more of the strange two-legged creatures building dens in their territory. They had succeed in getting rid of some of the intruders- by force or by sheer intimidation- but it seemed that for every den they abandoned, three new ones were built.

Bone stretched and yawned loudly as he laid across his favorite branch, the young male was an albino jaguar that recently had left his mother deeper in the jungle, he had set up a territory for himself and happily helped the other creatures. Due to his colour he had a harder time hunting so it was nice to have others help him. He looked down as he heard rustling foliage, rolling his eyes as he watched a group of young wolf pups running and playing, the feral Jaguar yawned loudly and gave a growl as he stood, stretching out as he moved to go to the nearby pond, intending to get a drink.

Larik grumbled as he was blocked into the cave his mother had raised him in, he was a young black bear anthro, raised by an older grizzly bear in a more rocky mountainous forest protected by large fences, Larik tried to convince his mother to let him leave, "Mother I'm not going to see what those walls are, I'm going to spend time by the lake with my friends" He growled lightly, yelping as his bear mother smacked him on the back of his head, telling him not to growl at her before allowing him to go, "Finally" He said as he bolted from the large cave and toward the lake.
