Flight Of The Dragon

"Most times, yes, why?" Forest said, looking at her with confusion. That was true but why would she need that information? What was she up to now?

She perked up as an idea came to mind, "I just thought of something to help the species..." She murmured softly and looked to him hopefully, "Changing dragons appearances, the hunters always take out our wings and tails right?" She asked him.

Forest chuckled at that, eyes glowing slightly at her. "You girls with that forever male. It makes me laugh everytime." He wasn't to keen on that cause who would love a dragon with no wing? That's the main thing with dragons and he looked like a complete idiot without them.

She gave a small huff, "I'm almost tempted to just let them do what they want... Only to rebuild the species though, then once we're safe I'd find my forever male" She said and softly purred, all dragonesses dream of their forever males since they hatch.

He sat down, enjoying talking, "Hey, you might be right. At least if there are more females and stuff those stupid males won't bother you as much." He meant it too, hoping that if she bore eggs the males would go away and leave her alone.

She gave a small nod, "I'm assuming we need to stay as a group for a few years until our species is rebuilt, then we can disband, but we might get so used to it we won't want to" She said softly, her tail flicking.

Forest stopped, looking at her complete surprise but nodded, murmuring, "Your welcome, but hey, I honestly don't feel like dying from not being able to fly, so I guess it's not to bad."

Snow looked to the wingless male and she moved toward him, "Hey, thanks for the help" She said softly and sat, though clearly hesitant about relaxing.

"Dismissed!" The dragon roared before taking off, large, triple wings flapping hard but quickly. Forest watched before turning and slowly walking away, a few dragons sneering at his wingless body. He was born without them, but instead could climb trees abd run fast. Everyone else had wings. He was an oddball. He didn't care though, always teasing them behind their back. But if they didn't make fun of him they didn't really speak to him. Pretty much his only friends were nature, the bird's and deer. He didn't mind that at all.

The dragoness seemed to perk up a bit as she heard the large male speak, her wings folded and her tail curled, noticing most of the males only agreeing in hopes to claim Snow.

The purple dragon nodded at Forest before looking at Ice, ears flicking slightly. The purple dragon alway liked these two the best, over his years he had never seen such two different dragons but yet liked them just as anyone else. With his eyes flicking around he said loud and clearly, "With Forest's vote, that settles it! Starting tomorrow we stay as a group unless you want to get banished from all dragons."

The dragoness began cowering a little, the hunters had always gone after females first, making Snow one of the last females of the surrounding area, she really only trusted the purple male, she glanced toward Forest then the rest of the dragons, a few thoughts running through her head on how she could keep the group together.

Dragons murmured in agreement, eyes gleaming happily. Forest however, a calmer, more quieter dragon snorted, "You guys are all dicks, and I mean that both ways." With that he walked up to the older, purple dragon who had called the meeting, murmuring loud, "I want to second that opinion."

Snow, a small female that most males lusted for, flew to the purple dragon, her normally small voice loud, "Listen!" She roared, her wings flaring, "We may not like the idea, but it'll stop our great species from being destroyed! If dragon hunters come we can ban together and kill them!" She roared, lowering slightly, "It would be easier to protect hatchlings as well if you really think about it" She added.

"I'd like to fill her with hatchlings we need to protect!" One older male roared, one of the many that had already tried to force the small dragoness to bare his eggs.

"Order, order!" A dark purple dragon roared as the others were chatting and whispering to each other nervously. As they soon became quiet, the dragon murmured a thank you before continuing, "As we all know, dragons are getting harder to find now and days. As a result of dragon hunters we are more rare than we use to be. Now I must say, you will all dislike the idea, but listen. As the main dragon, I must say we must ban together to fight this evil." Before he could continue dragons roared in protest.

With dragons becoming rarer and rarer, all of the groups of dragons must join together to make it through the dragon hunting times. Within the group two dragon (me and you) become friends (or enemies, whichever) quickly. As time passes on they become lovers. As time passes on dragons get angered that the dragon gets to love such a lovely she dragon. Going and trying to kill him, he survives and is taken and sheltered till he heals up, coming back and being quiet. After a while the she dragon wonders if that new dragon is him, till finally she checks for a small mark on him.
