When Riders Were Around [Private]

"We can't let him get to us. But I know well that he will do anything he can to find where we are." He looked over to the dragon, frowning at the arrows in his body. "Do you need any help with those?" He asked, wanting to know if he needed to pull them out for him.

The large white dragon panted as he continued to fly, despite the raging pain surging through his body from his earlier injuries and the many arrows in his flesh, "Galbatorix wants all the riders to side with him or die, he'll try to force us to side with him before he kills us" He said, grunting in pain as he landed on a large outcropping on a cliff, hidden unless one looked over the edge.

Miriam frowned as Galreodar emitted noises of pain. He shifted to see how far away they were. Glad they were far enough to evade their attacks. He slumped in his hold, wincing at the pain that burned his his side. "I'm surprised we made it out of there alive. To be honest, I didn't think we could." He said, a bit out of breath.

"You know I'll always come for you, you just had to wait" He growled lightly, he turned his head as he heard the voice, snarling as he looked to Galbatorix, he hissed before he held his rider close, shoving himself through the window, shifting mid fall and he kept his rider protected with his muscular legs, the white dragon gave growls and groans of pain as arrows pierced into his hide.

The rider watched as the dragon came hurtling into the room, still firmly holding the bleeding wound on his side. "Hey, I can't just sit in here and expect the door to just magically swing open." He responded in a huff, grunting as he was lifted off of the floor. He held his breath as he heard a voice. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." He turned his head to see the king, pointing a weapon at them. A few other men standing beside him.

A deep warning hiss rose from the dragon within their minds as the other hurt himself further, Stupid boy, stop trying to hurt yourself, I'm almost there now" He stated, it was mere seconds before a large body crashed through the door, light reflecting off the dragon in human form's scales, "Stupid" He scolded the other, "You knew you were injured yet you continued to worsen it" He hissed, picking the other up easily and walking toward the window, the dragon hating confined spaces.

Miriam looked about his room, providing multiple images of the room he was in. Soon looking out through the door, providing him of a view of where he was. "i can't get myself out of here. I managed to break free from the rope." he responded. Moving himself to slam his shoulder into the door once more. Wincing as he grabbed his wound, sinking to the ground. "Ow.." he panted weakly.

Galreodar tried to reach out with his mind again, sensing his rider, "Miriam" The dragon hissed through their minds, "Send me an image of where you are" He growled, racing through the halls to try to find him, though as the halls grew smaller, the dragon was forced to shift into his human form, sweat glistening off his body as he tried to find his rider.

Miriam firmly held the arrow with his hands, bringing it down to his feet, holding onto it so he could rub at the ties with the sharp blade. After a while of rubbing the rope at the arrow head, he got it off and then worked to free his legs. Once free, he stumbled to his feet and slammed his shoulder into the door. Attempting to get out, hearing his dragon call for him.

Booming roars shook the castle as the dragons challenged one another, with loosened chains falling to the floor, the white dragon pounced at the large black dragon, the males clawing and biting at one another, though they separated and the white dragon raced about the castle, roaring as he tried to find his rider.

Miriam worked to try and break free from his restraints. Moving his arms below him in an attempt to move them so they were in front of him. Once that was done, he worked to pull out the arrow that was stuck in his side. He held it firmly, yanking sharply. Hissing and biting his lip to keep down a pained noise. Upon yanking it out, he rested for a moment. Mind spinning from the pain, hating there was more blood now.

Galreodar growled as he tried to free himself, he tried to reach out to his rider through his mind, but something was blocking him, he snarled as the chains around him shifted, as he was raised up, hanging there he finally got a good look at where he was, the large throne room, he growled as he stared at the king's dragon, hissing at him for letting things get this far, "How could you let Galbatorix do all of this? We are noble dragons Shruikan" He roared, lashing his tail and glaring toward the titanic dragon.

Miriam found himself being thrown into a cell, growling at the men thst had thrown him there. He slumped back and squirmed in an effort to get himself free. Panting as he laid on his uninjured side. Wondering where his dragon was, hoping he wasn't hurt. He hoped that wasn't the case. He just groaned at the throbbing pain in his side. Hating that the arrow was stil stuck within him.

The white dragon gave a groan as he was moved, snorting out as he slept deeply from the tranquilizers, when he did start to wake, his tail thrashed about and he tried to spread out his wings, letting out a deep snarl, trying to swipe out with his claws but he was bound in heavy chains.

The hunters huffed as they watched the dragon finally collapse. They stepped forward to grab Miriam, tying his legs and arms together so he wouldn't try anything. Tossing him in a wagon before grabbing his dragon. Muzzling him before tossing him away as well. Finally sending them off to the king. Miriam grunted as he tried to move, wincing at the burning pain in his side. Biting his lower lip, trying to ease the pain.

The dragon seemed to snap out of his haze as he felt his rider's pain, he gave a bellowing roar and he snarled as he let out a loud breath of fire, creating a barrier between the other's and them, he stumbled and gave a groan as an arrow had pierced into his chest and another in his neck, he stumbled and tried to keep himself standing, the tranquilizers beginning to win against the large dragon, he finally fell to the ground with a loud thud, though he coiled himself around his rider to protect him.

The rider watched the group, sensing that his dragon was out of it. He grabbed for his own weapon, aiming and firing at them. Not wanting them to capture them. He knew that if they did, then he would surely be dead. After hitting one man, he huffed as an arrow pierced his side, lodging there. He crumbled and laid on his side, wincing as he refused to pull it out. Knowing the wound would get worse if he pulled at it. But it was indeed stuck there. He laid there as he watched the men. Seeing them shoot another arrow at the dragon.

The large white dragon panted as he tried to keep himself standing, burns deeply wounding the male, and some tranquilizer from the arrow affecting his balance and mind, the me hissed loudly as he shifted his weight, trying to stand over his rider to protect him, his muscular jaws opening and flames dancing against his fangs as he threatened to breathe fire, though his aim slightly off from the tranquilizers, if he breathed fire now, he would miss the enemy by at least two feet above them.

Miriam grunted as the dragon landed roughly. Stumbling forward once he was released, glad they weren't enveloped by flames anymore. He watched as a few more men stepped out, holding weapons that were pointed in their direction. "We have come to take you to the king." One of the men ordered. The rider growled and watched them. "Well, you're going to have to do more than just order." He retorted.

The large white dragon growled as he flapped his large wings to fly higher and higher, breathing heavily, he had felt an arrow skim his side, but paid no mind, he found a safe place to land and he hit the ground hard, his long talons sinking into the ground as he stumbled, snorting loudly, soot and ash shooting from his nostrils.

The hunter watched and growled. Aiming his weapon up to shoot the dragon. Hoping to hit him with his tranq arrow. Miriam frowned and watched as the arrow soared by. "Hey! Careful!" He shouted to the dragon. Hoping he wasn't hit by the arrows that were being shot at them he didn't want to know what would happen. He shut his eyes tightly and coughed, trying his best to keep his chest clear of smoke.

The white dragon snarled as he kept his rider close, protecting him from the flames with his own body, though his burns were getting worse, the large dragon looked about wildly before he spread out his wings and gave a mighty flap, sending some of the fire back, giving him enough time to swipe their things up for his rider with his tail and he launched into the air, due to his injuries he wasn't as fast and couldn't go as high, but he flapped his wings aggressively to get away quickly.

Miriam huffed as he was lifted into his arms. Letting the dragon carry him through the fire. How much fire was there? Someone was definitely out to get them. "If you know what's good for you, you'd stop!" A voice had shouted. Pointing a weapon at the dragon and stepping out through the fire. Keeping his eyes fixed on him.

"The fire's too thick!" He called back, gripping his rider to him, hissing as he tried to find a way through, "Stay close" He said as he abruptly stood on his back legs, curling his muscular front legs round the other and wrapping him with his wings to protect him from the flames, running like a human to get out of the fire, groaning in pain from the burns.

"I don't think we should see the source of the flames! We should leave!" Miriam shouted, hating how hot it felt. Coughing as he tried to get the dragon to uncurl from around him. "Let's get out of here. Whoever's here may still be around." He insisted, trying to get the dragon to go.
