Devils' Flight

She raised a brow at his frown, watching him as he knelt before her, "What?" She asked softly, movement just barely noticeable in her stomach.

Knox frowned gently, and dropped to his knees before her, pressing his ear to her stomach.

"I'm not completely sure just yet, but I can feel something moving off and on" She said, looking up toward him, "And I do seem to be bigger" She said.

Knox frowned deeply, pulling her back to look at her eyes and then stomach, "what? since when...i mean...how do you know...what?" he rambled.

She couldn't help letting out a small laugh at his response, "Ours" She murmured, looking up toward him with a small smile.

Knox frowned, "the baby?" he questioned, "what baby?"

She trembled as she continued to hold onto him, letting out a breath, "The baby too..." she said quietly, keeping her face in his chest.

He nuzzled her gently, "it's okay baby...they would have hurt you" he hugged her close.

"I didn't want to push them" She whimpered, "But they wouldn't stop" She held onto him, hiding her face in his chest, "I feel so wrong for pushing them" She sniffled lightly.

Knox pulled her close, giving a light chuckle, "i guess you didn't want to share either" he grinned and nuzzled her gently, "its alright baby" he told her, "if you hadn't i probably would have lost the fight" he told her, "you saved me."

"They kept trying to attack me... I pushed them in.." She whimpered, trembling softly and she hung her head.

"it will heal" he picked her up and held her close, "i'd rather my wing than you" he growled gently, looking around he frowned, "where'd the angels go?"

"But your wing" She whined, looking up toward him.

Knox pulled her close, "i'm alright" he told her, nuzzling her gently.

She backed off slightly, shifting and once he was out she hurriedly worked to heal him, whimpering loudly.

"stay back," he told her with a grunt, moving forward quickly to keep her from going into the water, electric waves still rolling through it.

She whined as she saw him, slowly moving into the water.

Knox emerged from the water, looking relatively fine except for one of his wings which was tucked and obviously broken.

Veta whined as she had to push and claw her way to making the other angels fall into the water as they had been trying to attack her, she whined as she paced the water's edge, waiting for Knox.

Knox snarled as he was roughly thrown to the ground by the demon, but seemingly took no notice of the loud collision, he kicked the demon off with such force he went flying back into the water, Knox snarled and dived it after him, seconds later, the entire lake jolted as an electric shock waved through it.

Veta managed to find a bear and she shifted into it, running back over, going to the angel's and she toppled them over fairly roughly, glancing to Knox, whimpering softly.

Knox snarled as he was tackled back into the water by the other demon before he could get out, the two demons not emerging from the water for several minutes. The two angels on the other side of the river were looking at the water expectantly. Eventually, the two demons emerged, with Knox seemingly winning the fight thus far. The other demon looking far worse than he did for the moment. However, Knox soon began to loose as the angels on the other side of the river began hurling what looked like fire balls at him mid-fight.

She was hesitant to let him go before she nodded, whimpering as she waded toward where her clothes were, getting out and she dressed herself, spotting the other angels and she whimpered, ducking into the trees to find something she could shift into.

He huffed gently, "if we do i would have backed down, he'll just come after you" he explained, the demon was getting closer to them, "go get your clothes and shift into anything you can to defend yourself" he ordered her.

"T-then l-lets go" She whined, clinging tighter onto him, hiding her face in his chest.
