Devils' Flight

Veta winced as she managed to get herself to her feet, holding her stomach and she stared at the other angel, scowling lightly, "No, no I'm not alright" She snapped, her emotions getting the better of her, "I was having a nice day with Knox until that happened" She snapped in anger, pointing to her mate fighting the other demon, the angel tensing briefly as she felt a pain, but it wasn't a kick, she tried to hide her growing pain from rising contractions, looking toward her battling mate worriedly.

Knox snarled, spreading his wings the male demon appeared on top of his mate, spreading his wings in a dominant display as another male demon approached accompanied by an angel. Knox snarled and dove at the demon, the two of them engaged in a violent battle off the ground. The angel considered the fight before approaching, "are you alright?" she asked, she obviously was pregnant as well, but much earlier on.

She pouted as she kissed her mate back softly, "Thank y-' she stopped short as something hit her mate, she yelled and cried out as she hit the ground hard, gasping out in pain as she ended up rolling toward the river, clinging to the bank and breathing heavily as she looked up to see what happened.

Knox chuckled at his mate, reaching down he scooped her up and kissed her lovingly, "now what do we say?" he joked, spreading his wings to take off the demon roared as something heavy was thrown at him, his wings shielding his mate but the force still had Knox tumble forward, losing grip on his mate.

She flinched slightly at his growl, but sighed in defeat and she nodded, wincing as she tried to stand on her own, sitting back and pouting, "Knox..." she whined, holding her hands up in an attempt to get his assistance.

Knox growled, "bed" he ordered, although the demon was clearly worried about touching his mate.

"I'm fine Knox, the baby's just throwing a fit, against my organs" She said, cupping his cheek softly.

Knox growled gently, "i want to get you back to bed" he demanded.

She winced again at another hard kick, a bump on her large belly from the infant's foot, "Okay little one, we know you're there" She said softly, stroking her stomach, she was tense as the kicks continued.

Knox frowned with worry, he wanted to rub her stomach for her but didn't want to risk their unborn child, as his mate put it, 'challenging him.'

"You're a big strong demon" She cooed, patting his cheek softly and she laughed, she flinched and gave a soft sound as she felt another hard kick, "Damn... That's getting worse" She murmured, knitting her brows lightly as she rubbed the spot that was kicked.

Knox gave an offended look, "what about my safety?" he joked.

Veta kissed him back softly and she gave a smile, giggling softly, "Don't expect me to let you beat our little one up now" She teased.

Knox flinched and moved away shortly after the kick, chuckling, he put one hand on the other side of the female's head and kissed her deeply, "i'm not very good at sharing" he grinned, nipping her, "your mine so i accept they're challenge" he grinned.

"At least it's narrowed to two... We'll have to see what name fits when the baby's born" She cooed, smiling as he kissed her large stomach, she stroked his head softly, she jumped and sucked in a breath at a fairly rough kick where the male had kissed, "Someone still wants to challenge you" She said, giving a small laugh.

Knox grinned, "who am i to argue with my powerful mate" he rolled over and kissed her belly, "i like those names."

"I've always liked Alex" She said softly, cuddling close to the male, "Aspen is cute" She cooed.

Knox smiled, nodding “alright” he allowed, “do you have any in mind my love?”

She closed her eyes softly as she relaxed with him, "Then gender neutral names?" She asked, looking up toward her mate.

Knox turned to watch her, beginning to play with her hair, “we still don’t know if it’s a boy or girl” he pointed out.

"Obviously" She giggled and she leaned against him, an arm over her large stomach and she gave a soft breath as she looked up toward the sky, enjoying the cool breeze and the warm sun, "If the baby is coming soon, we'll have to think of names" She cooed, stroking her belly softly.

Knox chuckled as he strode back toward his mate, kneeling in front of her, “of course. They heard about the angel that has me whipped and doesn’t want to risk her wrath” he teased, laying beside her.

"I'm sure it's fine Knox, even if someone came I'm sure you're more than fast enough to stop them" She cooed softly, watching her mate, "It's been a bit since anyone was seen around here anyway" She told him.

Knox looked over at her ungrateful landing and growled gently, still looking around.

She smiled softly once she felt the grass between her toes, giving a soft breath as she waddled about, finding a comfortable spot and she slowly lowered herself down, letting out a grunt as she hit the ground a little hard on her rear, but she was fine, relaxing in the grass.
