Delta frowned heavily at the mention of guards, “fine” she grumbled

He grunted as he was rolled, wrapping his arms around her, "Just... Promise you'll stay close to me... Okay? And if something happens you let the guards protect you" He gave a small worried frown.

Delta smirked and rolled onto him suddenly kissing at and sucking on his chest, “if I let you” She taunted.

"Oh I'll get it" He grunted lightly as he watched her.

Delta nodded and laid down with a heavy frown, suddenly turning to him and giving a slight smile, "if they're always with me how do you expect to get any privacy?" she purred.

"Thabk I you Delta, it makes me feel much better" ,÷ sad softly.

Delta frowned at his words with a glare, however, the female finally groaned and nodded, "fine."

The male sighed as he listened to her, frowning heavily, "When you're with me fine, but when I'm not around you'll have guards" He frowned.

Delta glared at him, "i don't care" she snapped and moving off him, "i don't want a guard if you put a guard on me, i'll lose them" she warned. The female suddenly realised that she was loosing and would ultimately lose so she turned back toward him putting her best submissive look on, "what if i promise not to leave your side...then i won't need a guard right? you can protect me..."

"You're my mate before you're an alpha, its my job to protect you" He snapped, growling deeply.

Delta growled at him, "i'm an alpha too Caspian" she snarled.

"Dont argue about this Delta, I told you I'm not chaning my mind" He growled back toward her.

Delta growled softly, "If your not having guards, then i'm not" she snapped, crossing her arms across her bare chest.

"And I'll beat the shit out of anyone that thinks they can challenge you, Delta you're the first alpha female the pack has had in a long time.. Its my job yo keep you and our pup safe, you wont change my mind on this, if she's coming for us then you and Grace need protection" He said flatly.

Delta growled, "i don't need guards on me" she argued, "i can protect myself now" she insisted, "the pack will see me as inferior to you, if i have guards and you don't" she told him with a frown, "it's one thing to argue about in here, but it's another to allow them to think it" she stated, "someone might get an idea and challenge me."

"Or take her... I've heard some females, even males, will kidnap the pups of their desired mate.. Raise them" He murmured, "I'm going to make sure there's guards with you and her all the time" He frowned heavily.

Delta sat back a little, "maybe she's recruiting the help of strays, forming her own pack" she frowned and looked back at Grace, "if she's brave enough to attack me while pregnant then we have to assume she could hurt Grace."

"Only bitch I can think of that would" He growled deeply, his grip on her tightning slightly.

Delta frowned, "Venice" she shrugged, "she's still alive and has the motive" she pointed out.

"I was thinking the same" He sighed softly, wrapping his arms around her, "I have an idea who it might be... Someone who wants revenge on both of us" He muttered.

Delta rocked Grace until she fell back asleep before returning her to her crib, the female then moved to straddle her mate, "I'm worried about whoever attacked me" she told him with a frown. "Whoever it was had planned it" that much as clear, "I think whoever it was, was with those wolves that attacked you."

He snorted and chuckled as he nuzzled her back, holding her close to him and smiling.

Delta laughed, "Our little potato" she smiled and nuzzled into her mate.

"She still kinda looks like a potato though" He pointed out and laughed.

Delta smiled softly at him and leaned back to rest her head on his chest, "you know I never understood how mothers and fathers could sit and stare at their babies for hours... I always thought that babies looked like potatoes with arms...but I get it now" she laughed softly.
