Run Away Bravely (Stormwind)

Crowfeather hopped onto the bridge immediately after Leafpool.

Breezepelt had been tasked with alerting the leaders when Crowfeather and Leafpool returned, which he quickly did.

Leafpool held her head high as they neared the island, having to separate from Crowfeather once they reached the log bridge in order to leap up onto it.

Crowfeather curled his tail around hers as they walked back towards their reckoning in the Darkclan camp.

Leafpool purred softly, briefly leaning into him before starting to make the way back to the island.

Crowfeather sighed, though he smiled softly as he leaned in to help Leafpool groom her ruffled pelt.

(GASP)

Leafpool frowned but didn’t say anything, quickly grooming her ruffled pelt before getting to her paws.

“Yeah, but I also have to help guard the camp tonight.” Crowfeather Replied with a yawn, stretching himself out.

(Guess when there’s gonna be an attack? TONIGHT)

Leafpool glanced up at the sky. “It’s only early afternoon,” she pointed out dryly but did sit up.

“We need to go back before it gets dark,” Mewed The tom quietly, continuing to groom his mate as she woke up.

Lady grumbled, half-heartedly batting at his muzzle as she reluctantly opened her eyes.

Crowfeather licked Leafpool’s muzzle a few times. “Come on, Love,” mewled the tom softly, trying to get Leafpool to wake up.

Leafpool slept for a couple of hours before she stirred, the position of the sun overhead indicating that it was now early afternoon.

Crowfeather stayed on guard above his mate.

Leafpool drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Crowfeather rested his head atop hers, perfectly content to cuddle with his mate while she got some much needed rest.

Leafpool yawned a little, letting her amber eyes slip closed.

Crowfeather shrugged. “I really don’t care,” The tom Replied, affectionately grooming the she-cat.

(Sorry Crow *pets him*)

“We’re probably going to be confronted as soon as he we head back,” Leafpool murmured drowsily.

(Ok! Crowfeather’s not quite ready for that though. :3 )

Crowfeather purred, curling his tail tightly around his mate’s.

Leafpool huffed at him but leaned back into his side.

(When they go back, they should be confronted by the leaders :3)

Crowfeather smiled slightly. “Atta girl,” Teased the tom, kissing her muzzle quickly.

Leafpool lifted her head. “I don’t care even if they come down themselves to tell me to give them up again,” she said fiercely. “I will raise these kits.”

Crowfeather nodded solemnly. “Then perhaps it’s not such a bad thing they were raised by your sister.” The tom licked her shoulder comfortingly. “But as long as you don’t get another sign, these kits will be all ours.”

Leafpool nodded against his side, keeping her face hidden in his fur. As a result, her voice was muffled. “Yes. Apparently, it was not a part of their destiny to be raised by me.”

Crowfeather stopped his licking at the mention of Feathertail, feeling a slight pang of sorrow go through his heart. “They said that?” Mewed The tom contemplatively.
