Dim Light (Stormwind)

Echowhisper followed, surprised by how fast Graycloud moved as she escorted them elsewhere, away from the hustle of Camp and into a nice, more private clearing.

Graycloud quickly nodded, turning and practically fleeing from the camp, she moved so fast. She led the slightly younger she-cat towards a clearing a good distance from the camp.

Echowhisper nearly let out a sigh of relief, but held it back, panting softly instead as her whole boy felt like it was on fire as she looked over at Graycloud. “Do you want to... take us somewhere?” As fun as it would be, The smaller she-cat doubted Graycloud would want to put on a show in the clearing in this clan as well.

"...all right," Graycloud finally capitulated, keeping her voice quiet out of embarrassment and feeling flustered.

Please, whined Echowhsiper inwardly, the petite she-cat’s whole body burning now as she gazed over at Graycloud.

Graycloud pinned her ears back, ruffling her fur uncomfortably and with embarrassment as she glanced away.

“I can help you,” mewled Echowhsiper quickly in reply, pouncing on the slight interest Graycloud seemed to show. Without mentioning the other she-cat’s first time, which she knew embarrassed her, she added “I can tell you what to do. I’ve helped other she-cats before.” And I guess she has been with Rainstar and Mossflower too, huh?

"I.. don't know how much help I'd be, if I accepted," Graycloud managed, feeling her own cheeks finally starting to burn. "Back at your Clan's camp was the first I'd ever... well."

“I... guess you could say that, yes,” Echowhisper Replied, not having realized what this was until now, either. Her blush only intensified now as she stared back at the other female.

Okay, so I did hear that correctly, Graycloud thought incredulously, staring at Echowhisper with wide eyes. "Are you... propositioning me?"

Echowhsiper flinched in response but didn’t recant her offer. “I could help you in return the next time you need it, too. It would be better than any of the toms or waiting it out.”

Graycloud made a choking sound, unable to believe she’d just been asked what she thought she had. She must have misheard. “What?”

Echowhisper blushed furiously, her cheeks burning from her embarrassment and her hindquarters burning from her heat. “I... could you... help me?”

Graycloud frowned slightly, not knowing what to do to help Echowhisper. After all, she’d just waited it out.

Echowhsiper finally just shook her head. “I don’t know what to do...”

“I asked if you were okay,” Graycloud repeated, “not if you were in heat.”

“I guess you already know...” Echowhsiper murmured, bowing her head in shame. Of course this had to happen to her so early in her stay with a new clan!

Graycloud blinked at the other she-cat, waiting patiently for a response other than ‘um.’

Echowhisper froze, turning to look at Graycloud after a hesitation that showed she was struggling. She turned her head but not her body, not wanting to lift her hindquarters at all. “Um...” she mewled unconvincingly.

“You all right, Echowhisper?” Graycloud mewled worriedly, remembering how hard her own heats were.

Echowhisper’s tailtip flicked around in annoyance and mild worry, the silvery Loveclan she-cat unaware that Graycloud was watching her as she tried to keep her urge to touch herself under control.

(She still considers herself as part of Loveclan and told Rainstar that she’d return, but that could always change! )

Graycloud cast a worried glance at Echowhisper, briefly wondering what had the other she-cat so worked up before she remembered that the former(?) LoveClan cat was in heat.

Echowhisper felt relieved when she finally dropped her prey off with Graycloud’s at the fresh kill pile, hoping to put that embarrassment behind her and focus on other thi- she growled with annoyance as her heat flared up, biting her lip softly as she consciously sat down and tucked her tail under herself tightly.

It didn’t take the pair long to reach the camp. Graycloud slipped in through the entrance and dropped her prey off at the fresh-kill pile.

Echowhisper managed to hold her head up as she padded back toward camp alongside Graycloud despite how embarrassed she was. The she-cat scolded herself silently the entire way back to Dimclan’s home.
