Run Away Bravely (Stormwind)

Leafpool squirmed slightly, pressing her other paw against the ground. Her breathing was coming slightly quicker as the tom’s ministrations brought her arousal back.

Crowfeather shot Leafpool a knowing glance around the forepaw of hers he currently possessed, adding his slight nips and nibbles back into the mix occasionally between long stretches of lovingly grooming her pads. He knew that she had been aroused by it earlier, and seemed set on drawing that reaction from her continuously now.

Leafpool inhaled sharply in surprise, wide amber eyes fixed on the way he was practically caressing her pad with his tongue.

Crowfeather, not really one for words, held Leafpool’s gaze for a moment as he tried to figure out what to say, an effort that was ultimately fruitless. Instead, the tom lowered his head back down, tightened his grip around her foreleg, and purred softly as he pressed his muzzle against her pads. He rubbed his muzzle fur lovingly over the bottom of her forepaw for a moment before he began to lick at her pads, the strokes of his tongue slower and much more deliberate now.

Leafpool made a vaguely questioning sound, her entire body language practically screaming with embarrassment.

Crowfeather lifted his head over her forepaw to look at the She-Cat, but didn’t let go of it. “Leafpool?” The tom mewled, genuinely not offended by the medicine cat’s arousal.

Leafpool buried her muzzle under her remaining paw with an embarrassed whine, squeezing her eyes shut so she didn’t have to look at the tom even as shivers ran down her spine at his breath billowing over her paw.

The black tom was enjoying teasing Leafpool, even as she tried to pull away more insistently. Before long though, a familiar smell carried through the air, and Crowfeather stopped for a moment, though his breath still billowed over her paw pads.

Leafpool pinned her ears back, her tugging getting more desperate as she tried to free her paw before he noticed anything.

Crowfeather gave Leafpool a smug look when she began to squirm around in an attempt to escape, continuing to nibble and occasionally give The she-cat’s forepaw a sloppy lick.  The Tom was still being playful, not realizing yet he was turning her on with the paw play.

Leafpool’s eyes widened in surprise and she squirmed, trying to tug her paw free to get it away from the ticklish and weirdly arousing feeling.

Crowfeather caught her paw in his forepaws and brought it up to his mouth, playfully nibbling at her pads.

Leafpool gently batted back at his paw.

Crowfeather continued to bat at her gently, purring.

She sighed and flopped down on the ground beside him, laying sprawled out in the grass.

The half of his face that wasn’t against the ground smiled up at Leafpool, the tom reaching up and pawing at her shoulder lazily.

Leafpool rolled her eyes at the tom. “That’s not what I meant and you know it.”

“It’s easy enough,” Replied Crowfeather, smirking as he rolled onto his side in the grass and stretched out comfortably. “See?”

Leafpool blinked at his paw in surprise. “Well, I don’t know how you WindClan cats sleep out in the open like this,” she said with a playful sniff.

Crowfeather turned towards Leafpool, a glimmer in his bright green eyes. “I never understood how you Thunderclan cats could sleep under trees,” he scoffed playfully, bopping her nose with a forepaw gently.

Leafpool glanced at the tom at the warmth in his tone, eyes softening slightly though she tried not to let him see. “That sounds beautiful.”

Crowfeather nodded. “This Camp used to be so lively. At night, in the warmer seasons, it looked like the clearing itself was moving with all of the cats who chose to sleep under the stars instead of in their dens.”

The small she-cat blinked in surprise but padded into the camp, joining her former mate. She looked around, remembering the last time she’d stood there; when she and Jayfeather (then Jaypaw) had come to get Crowfeather (and Breezepaw, now Breezepelt) for the trip to the mountains. “It seems so… empty.”

When he noticed that Leafpool hadn’t yet joined him in the clearing, the tom turned around and motioned for the medicine cat to come into the camp with him, some unknown force demanding he be close to her.

Leafpool paused at the edge of the camp and watched Crowfeather wistfully.
