From The Auction To The Bedroom (Ham4Ham)

The man raised a brow, frowning lightly, "Anything to remind you of home" He questioned the other.

Sam looked to the side slightly, trying to figure out what would make his stay better. The feline just shrugged his shoulders, enjoying the gentle pets. "I don't know.." He finally said after a few minutes of silence. Everyone was different, and had their own way of taking care of things. He didn't expect this man to be like his old family. There were a lot of things that were different, but he didn't want to voice them and make him upset.

The man listened while he slid his hands over the other's body, stroking his head as if petting him and he watched him, "What can I do to make your stay better then" He asked him.

The feline opened his mouth to say something, but he quickly closed his mouth. Not wanting to say anything that would irritate his master. He allowed himself to be pulled down, shifting lightly on his lap. "Uh.. I came from an elderly family. Who took care of me since I was a little kitten. They died and I was sent away to be auctioned off. That's how I ended up here." Sam fumbled with Henry's shirt, trying to think of other things to say. But he didn't want to explain everything about himself.

"Henry" He told him flatly before pulling him down, making the anthro straddle him and he held him there easily, "Since you're new, tell me about yourself" He said.

Sam flicked his ears, not hesitating to make his way over to Henry. He got close to him, wailing to do what he asked. That was his job, wasn't it? At least he wasn't being beaten, since that was what the auctioneers were talking about when they were selling him. As he stood beside the male, he could only think about his past family. He just wished they were alive, he wanted to be with them. "What do you need, sir?" He asked softly.

Henry sighed as he watched the anthro, "I would have told you if I wanted you to leave" He frowned, "Now come here" He commanded.

Small bump.

The feline shifted around and flattened his ears against his skull. "I didn't hear from you, sir. I didn't want to overshoot my stay," he said lightly. Moving his hands behind his back as he stood there. Keeping his gaze fixed on the other male.

"No one said you could leave" Came his voice as he stared out the window, he grumbled lightly before he turned around, staring at the anthro, shooting a light glare.

Sam shifted on his feet, wondering if he should stick around to comfort the male. He watched him with a curious gaze, before he turned around to head out of the door. He thought back to what happened last night. That would happen again? But he didn't know when. The man seemed to be unpredictable. Yet, he didn't seem to mind that at all.

In the office, the man seemed like he hadn't even noticed the new anthro yet, but he had, he was just too busy doing paperwork, a heavy frown on his face and he snorted as he worked, running a hand through his hair and over his face before finally leaning back, he turned his chair around and stared out the window.

The feline looked over and blinked at her lightly. "You sure?" He finally asked. He knew that she might have known what had gone on. She seemed to have gone through the same thing before he came around. He took the meal, before rushing up to where the man was. Stepping inside, he brought the meal in and placed it down onto his table gently. Making sure it was far away from his paperwork. Not wanting to get snapped at or anything.

Lily showed him how to make the master's breakfast before letting him take it to the master, "He'll probably want to see you instead of me this morning" She chuckled softly, she knew what happened, it was fairly obvious at what had happened.

In the office, their master was working away, grumbling to himself as he worked, a hand running through his hair while he glared at the paperwork in front of him.

Sam shifted up and rubbed at his eyes. Standing to have Lily come in and get him ready to go make breakfast. He felt a bit sore after being pounded into the desk, but he could handle himself. Following her down to the kitchen, he made sure to watch silently at everything she did. Speaking only when she asked a question or it was something he needed to reply to.

The man got out of bed, barely dressing himself before he walked to his office, plopping into his chair and he began his daily work while Lily came in to get Sam ready and take him to the kitchen for breakfast.

Sam was still fast asleep beside the male, curled up into a small ball to keep himself warm. He blinked open his eyes hazily as Henry started to wake up beside him. He lifted his gaze and looked over to him. The feline stretched out and yawned, before he shifted up and flicked his tail lightly.

Henry slept soundly the whole night before he woke up and sat up, grumbling to himself as he was fairly groggy right after waking up.

The feline curled up more as the man started to get comfortable. He actually managed to drift off into a gentle slumber. Still pressed against the male, not minding that an arm was still draped over his body. And he didn't bother to even move, not wanting to disturb the man while he slept. Gentle purrs were still leaving his throat as he laid there.

The man made himself comfortable, turning the lights out and he relaxed on his bed, letting himself fall asleep, he twitched and mumbled off and on as he slept, his arm still draped over the feline.

"I know," he replied softly. Keeping his head resting on the the other as he watched him read. Tail flicking as he kept himself curled up beside the other male. Soon allowing his eyes to close, gently resting up for whatever tomorrow may bring. He was still slightly awake, yet also half asleep. Sam was ready to get up when needed, he learned to sleep like that when he lived with the elderly couple.

"You do realize you still can speak right, I haven't said you couldn't" He pointed out, glancing down toward the feline.

The feline let off a small noise as he was moved to lay against the man's side. He curled up and rested his head against him. Silently watching as he read the book, while almost reading along with him. He didn't speak, since he was worried about saying anything. He said something before and got snapped at because of it, so he was a bit worried.

The man chuckled as he watched the feline, before he sat up, pulling the feline over and letting him lay against his side, Henry's arm draped over the cat while he went back to reading his book like nothing was happening.

Sam looked toward the man, debating if he should deny him. But soon allowed himself to explore the room. He made sure to look at every inch, tail flicking as he observed everything around him. He even stopped to explore things a bit more, before he finally got a feel for the room. Once he was done, he walked over to the man and moved back up onto the bed. Shifting down so he could curl up comfortably.
