Catching A New Friend [Storm]

The thin cougar was just about to wake up before she was given another dose to keep her asleep, her eyes laid open as she laid there, her mouth agape and her claws flexed, her wounds weren't as bad as they looked with all the blood, the worst thing about her was probably the malnutrition, she was pretty skinny but still had some muscle on her. Upon closer inspection, the female cougar seemed to have had cubs some time in her life, but not currently, as she was in heat.

Nothing the twitching, the wolf male quickly dashed back into his cabin. His town, with a population of about 50, all loved their animals, most owning hunting dogs and even a few falcons. There wasn't much else to do up here, after all. He happened to be the town's veterinarian, and so had an extra syringe on hand, administering the dose to her before dragging the trap into his home. After making sure she was out again, he pulled the cougar out of the trap, carefully laying the large... female, he decided- onto his bare dining room table, preparing to treat her injuries.

The female pinned her ears and growled as she laid there, too tired to try and strike out at him, she got a sudden burst of energy as she felt the needle pushed into her skin and she roared at him, striking out at the trap before her head started to sway, showing how fast just a little bit of tranquilizer affected the tired animal, she laid her head down as she started falling asleep, her lashing tail slowing down until stopping, by the time he was at his cabin, it would only be a few minutes until she woke up unless given more sedatives, her paws started twitching as she was getting close to waking up.

Within minutes the man had gotten his truck up to the trap, carefully waiting until the cougar looked exhausted before hoisting the trap into the bed, injecting the female with a tranquilizer after setting her down. He quickly began the drive back to his cabin, only about half an hour from the foothills in which he'd been hunting.

The dirty and skinny tan coloured cougar snarled and continued to try and free herself, she hissed loudly when she saw the hunter, her ears were pinned back and she breathed heavily, her sides heaving and she laid her head down on her bloody paws, exhausting herself and she laid as best she could, her ears back and she breathed heavily, growling softly as she laid in the live trap.

"Shit," the hunter growled quietly to himself under his breath, the man quickly rushing up to the trap but refraining from getting to close to the rusted metallic bars for fear of being injured by the scared cat within. "You ain't what I was tryin' to catch, hold on a moment." The man tore back off towards his truck.

Stuck in the live trap, a pretty big cougar was pacing and circling as much as she could, the trap was pretty small for her, but she had managed to squeeze herself inside, her entire body was skin and bone due to other predators in the area, she tried to get an easy meal but ended up getting caught, her ears perked as she heard footsteps and she snarled loudly, trying to scare whatever was coming away, her tail lashed and she hissed loudly, clawing and trying to bite at the bars of the live trap holding her captive, she had struggled so much in the trap at that point, that she wore herself down near to exhaustion and she caused a lot of cuts and wounds on her face from struggling so much, blood coating her face from her wounds.

Darrel the hunter's ears flicked as he heard the signature beeping from his trap management system. Pulling the remote-sized contraption from his pocket, he noticed the light for trap 2 was blinking, and he quickly picked up his rifle and began to jog over the hilly terrain back towards the trap, a mile or so upstream.

Here we are~ Which one do you want to be? I was thinking the anthro is a hunter and ends up catching the feral, and instead of using the feral for food or money, he makes friend's with it and the two hunt together in solitude since he lives out in the middle of the woods
