Trics managed to catch up with the herd once they were safe and she breathed heavily, staggering and flopping onto her side, letting out a small groan of pain.

Scowler continued to stay by her side, seeing the carnotaurus gaining he roared at trics to continue before he turned and attacked the dinosaur protectively. Once the carnotaurus backed off, scowler roared and charged back to join his mate. "Keep moving" he encouraged.

The herd ran for the river, once there they started crossing, Trics was the last to make it, growing weak just using three legs, and she moved into the water, breathing heavily as she tried to swim to the other side.
