The Start of Us (Bacon)

He opened the back of the van, smiling when he saw there were no "zombies" in it.

She got up after him and she walked behind him, "Wait, that van over there, there's more room there so we aren't so crammed" She said and grabbed his hand softly, softly pulling him to the van she saw.

He nodded, standing up off of her and walking to the car

"Lets get back to the car before Runners or anything else finds us" She mumbled through her tears.

He didn't say anything, crying to hard to make real words as they hugged

Emily yelped as the force of him jumping on her knocked her weak body down, she wrapped her arms and legs around her brother and hugged him close, "I'm sorry!" She sobbed, "I just wanted to keep you safe" She cried into his neck.

He had gotten close to the car, chest heaving and eyes red, and upon sight of his sister, he ran up to her and threw his arms around her,crying and hugging her tightly.

Emily looked up and got even more worried once it was getting dark, she slowly got up and rubbed her eyes softly, letting out a breath and she ran in the direction where her brother went off to.

Charlee leaned against a building, lost from where Emily was. He realized so quickly, panicking, "Oh no,oh no,oh no!" he whispered, turning around and running the direction he came from, praying he wasn't too lost, and soon had to stop running due to lack of breath. Now walking, he had to reach up and wipe away the blinding tears from his eyes.

Emily sat on the ground against the car and she whimpered, pulling her knees close to her chest and she finally broke, her tears falling, she sobbed as she leaned back against the car, her muscles ached and she was starving, she felt horrible, both with her health and how she had been treating her brother, she just wanted to keep him safe...

He turned and stared at her for a moment, mouth agape and eyes wide with regret and sadness. He turned back around, covering his ears and running, picking up pace until he was out of breath.

She flinched when he yelled and she stared at him with wide eyes, she watched him before frowning and she huffed, "Fine! Run off! See how I care!" She screamed, which wasn't good on her constantly sore throat, she tried not to let her brother see, but she had been getting sick lately, she couldn't put her finger on it, but she hoped it was food poisoning, though there was a chance she was pregnant now.

He threw his hands to his side, free hand curling into a fist. "IT'S NOT JUST THE DAMN TURNED, ITS THE FUCKING RAPISTS! Don't you get it? I'm ot just some kid anymore! Look at you! I can't keep getting pampered while you die right in front of me! If I can't help then what's the fucking point of me being here?!" he yelled back at her, throwing down the pipe and stompig in the other direction.

They were in the middle of no where with only a few cars with empty tanks, Emily finally snapped and she started kicking at the car they had and she yelled out loudly, throwing her machete into the ground, she had gotten thinner and stress lines began appearing upon her face, making her look older, "Charlee, put the fucking thing down, how many times do I have to tell you that you aren't fighting those things!?" She snapped harshly at her brother.

(Yeah. I got an idea)

They had ran out of gas a few hours ago, and were looking for more gas. As they looked around, Charlee found a rusted, jagged pipe. 'Just like my old one!' he thought, picking it up with a smile.

She glanced back toward him and sighed softly, she stared at the road while continuing to drive.

(Wanna to a skip? Maybe something happens to make Charlee bring up seeing Emily naked and being raped?)

He nodded, eyes closing as he slept.

"Don't worry, I will, once we're safe" She told him softly.

He nodded, clambering into the back seat. He glanced at her from the insode mirror, even if it was cracked, "You'll sleep sometime soon, right?" he laid down, laying his head on his arm.

"Climb in back and get some sleep, you'll need it" Emily spoke flatly, she always made sure he slept, but unknowing to him, she hadn't slept much at all since everything happened, like she would tell him she was letting her own health decline so she could keep him safe.

He leaned his head against the window, smiling as the clickers and runners began disappearing from the mirror.

"Let's get out of here" She smiled lightly and started driving, picking up speed once clickers and runners followed them.

He smiled, pumping his fist into the air, "Yeah!"

She grabbed her knife and used it to hotwire the car, grinning as it roared to life.

He slid into the passengers seat beside of Emily.
