She squeaked, trying to pull herself away. "I'll eat the berry!"

Houndoom growled and he followed her, grasping her scruff in his jaws and he pulled her out from under the bush.

Vaporeon glared at him, limping over to a bush to flop underneath it, wishing for a body of water.

"Vaporeon you need the fully berry" Houndoom growled, "I'll force it down you if I have to" He snapped.

She stubbornly turned away from the berry, and then suddenly there was a time skip.

He glanced to her and he growled, "Just take the damn berry Vaporeon" He snapped and stood.

"I'm not eating it" He huffed and shot her a light glare.

She shook her head stubbornly and pushed it back.

"I'll be fine, you take it" He stated and pushed his half to her.

She frowned and cut the Oran berry in half, pushing one half to him.

"Take the last oran berry" He told her while sitting down.

She quietly munched on her Oran berry, her tail absentmindedly swishing back and forth over the ground. Standing up, she stretched out happily, glad that the pangs in her leg were now barely there.

He grasped the berries he needed in his fangs and he ate them, soon standing and stretching, giving a growl and letting out a flamethrower into the sky, "Back in action" He grinned.

She noses her way through the bushes, methodically checking them for berries as she moved around the clearing. By the time she was done and made it back to Houndoom, she had three Oran berries, one Rawst berry, and one Cheri berry.

He watched her and sighed, his ears flicking as he listened for any dangers, he turned his head, keeping an eye on his smaller friend.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed, fighting the tears that sprang to her eyes at the reminder of their old trainer, and scurried off to look for berries, her blue-scaled body out of place among the trees.

"Fine, fine, but just stay in the clearing, in case he sent the others to make sure we're gone" He sighed and rolled his eyes lightly.
