Hello Feline Friends

Treewhisker laughed softly, his non-broken hindleg twitching in the air as he watched her. "Morning, sleepyhead," the tom teased, sticking his tongue out at his mate.

She stole it from him and wolfed it down.

The injured tom smiled warmly at his mate, pushing the remains towards Violetwing to offer her the last bite or two that remained.

She twitched at the scent of the mouse, lifting her head to blearily glare at it.

Eventually, the helpless tom asked the medicine cat for a quick bite to eat. He eagerly, but messily, devoured the mouse right next to Violetwing.

She burrowed back into the nest and drifted back to sleep.

Grunting as he was slapped by his irate, sleepy mate, Treewhisker rolled back over and watched the medicine cat, clearly already bored and only in his first day of recovery.

She swatted at his muzzle grumpily, trying to get back to sleep.

Finally, the crippled male rubbed his muzzle sleepily against hers, purring quietly and planting a few soft licks on her cheek as well. The medicine cat rummaged through his stores behind them.

Violetwing drifted in and out of sleep, content to lay with her mate.

By morning, Treewhisker's tight grip on his lovely mate has slackened a bit, but the she-cat was still within reach and indeed had one of his forepaws resting on her shoulder.

She fell asleep too.

"Love you," Treewhisker purred sleepily, pulling her in close with his forepaw before closing his eyes and eventually falling asleep.

Cioletwing pulled back after a bit, tucking her head underneath his chin.

As bad as Treewhisker wanted to deepen their kiss, to pull her in with his forepaws and use his tongue, kiss more and more until they were so drunk on the taste of one another that they could only sate themselves with wild sex, Treewhisker had to be content with a series of gentle kisses along her lips and her jaw, before returning to kissing her mouth.

She eagerly returned the kiss, with a purr.

Having to stay on his back for now to avoid aggravating his leg, Treewhisker only tuned his head towards her, kissing her passionately once she had snuggled up to his side.

She lay down beside him, snuggling into his fur.

Treewhisker smiled weakly, Admiring her care for him. "Fair enough," he conceded, flicking her ears teasingly with his tail, "but once I'm healed up I wanna find out about my present!" Purring, he then curled his tail around her foreleg. "In the meantime, will you just lay with me?"

"It would still jostle your leg," she pointed out, perfectly serious. "I don't want to injure you any more."

"Well, you inferred you were giving, not receiving."  The tom replied.  "So I shouldn't have to move to be given anything, surely?"  He smirked playfully at her, curious and hoping she would go through with her plan today, but he would understand if she wanted to put it off until he had recovered.

She arched a kittybrow and gave a pointed look to his broken leg.

"I believe you were," the tom replied, the injured male narrowing his eyes playfully at Violetwing as she tried to play coy. "No time like the present since I'm not going anywhere soon."

The pale grey she-cat blushed, her fur mostly hiding the red on her cheeks but some snuck through. "Was I?" She teased.

"So..." Treewhisker purred cheekily. "If I'm not mistaken, you were going to give me something today?"
