Brutus flicked his ears as he looked about the shack, looking to the other as he felt him against his side, "Brutus... Doesn't know what to think... He... Not used to being away from master... Or master's home" He said, staying with the other and he looked to him, "Brutus only really knows what master wanted him to do" He shrugged, the large male really wasn't sure what to think of his now larger world.

"Of course, we can make anything into a home if we tried." Ash told the lion, watching in amusement as the neko broke one of the floorboards. "It won't take long, since this place already has pretty much everything we need." He said, moving to press against him. "What do you think?" He hummed, glancing around the shack once more. Wanting to hear what he had to say about making this place into their new home.

Brutus flicked his ears as he watched the other, trying to imitate him again, "We can make it a home?" He asked as he followed the other around, poking at a few loose floorboards, one breaking and the large male jumped away, giving a low hiss as he glared toward the floorboard.

The wolf flicked an ear as Brutus sat up, still a bit hesitant with having new things around him. Ash just sat cleaning himself for quite some time, eventually he shifted to stretch himself out. "So, I was thinking we should work on getting this shack fixed up. Maybe if we get it fixed we can settle here" he told the male, deciding to take a closer look of the shack. Seeing what needed to be repaired and down.

Brutus watched his new friend closely, holding onto him and he let out a soft breath, his tail lashing and he slowly dozed off, waking shortly after the other and complaining about wanting more sleep, despite sleeping for quite a while. Brutus sat up and yawned out, hissing lightly whenever there was something new and unknown to him.

The wolf closed his eyes in content as the lion curled around him. He exhaled softly as he dozed off, warm and comfortable in his hold. Ash remained asleep for the longest time, eventually waking up and shifting. "Mm.." he rumbled out. Moving his hands up to wipe at his eyes. Shifting to groom between his legs. Trying his best to fully wake up.

Brutus seemed to settle and mellow out as it became later, he purred as he felt the other press against him, he pulled him close and nuzzled him as he continued to purr, curling around the other neko, nuzzling his face to his neck softly, the large male closing his eyes lightly as he relaxed.

The wolf neko ate, looking over to see Brutus quickly eat up the food. "You can have more. I caught a few rabbits for a reason." He told him, finishing up the rabbit he was eating. He shifted so he could relax. Moving to clean himself once more. Opening his mouth to yawn, resting his head down so he could settle in. Eventually, he decided to move and press against Brutus. Settling down against him as he exhaled softly.

Brutus tilted his head curiously as he watched the other neko, lashing his tail as he followed him, continuing to look around and clumsily making his way around, when they were back at their little home, Brutus watched the other closely, seeming to be trying to take in everything he was doing, he sniffed at the meat when he grabbed a handful, poking his tongue out to test it briefly, the male deeming the rabbit safe he began eating quite sloppily, finishing his share fairly quickly and licking his lips in satisfaction.

The wolf looked over to Brutus as he mentioned that his master brought in a rabbit one time. He winced and shook his head, "this is different." He told the lion. Deciding to hunt a few more rabbits before he was satisfied. "Okay, let's go back to our home." He said, leading Brutus back home. Once they were back, he went to go prepare the rabbits he caught. Skinning and gutting the rabbits and making sure they were clean. Ash never cared to cook his food. He was able to eat it raw if he wanted to, so he did. He took a bit of rabbit and went to work eating it. "Come and get some," he told the lion. Motioning for him to come eat.

Brutus tilted his head toward the other, staring at the sky and squinting as the other removed the sticks and leaves from his mane, "No bowl? Then how do we eat?" He questioned, the large male oblivious, he followed the other as he looked about absentmindedly, the feline jumping when the other surged forward after the rabbit, he tilted his head and sniffed at the rabbit the other brought to him, "Master brought rabbit one time" He rambled, "Though he didn't stay long, he cried and bled a lot" He said nonchalantly, like it was normal for anyone to have lived like he had.

"Yes, it changes. And it looks like it'll change soon." He said, eyes gazing up at the sky as they walked. Glancing over to the lion and softly chuckling as his mane was messy. He stopped and stepped over to him, helping him get the twigs and the leaves out. "There is no more food bowl, Brutus. We have to get our own food." He said, leading him along more before finding a rabbit. He shifted and readied himself, shooting forward and chasing the rabbit. Eventually getting it and swiftly killing it, bringing his kill back to Brutus. "How does rabbit sound?" He questioned, holding up the dead rabbit.

Brutus tilted his head as he listened to the other, looking confused, "It changes? The one master has never changes" He rambled, following the other before he pounced on a leaf as it rolled with the wind, he let out a sound as he tripped and tumbled to the ground, rising and he shook himself off, his mane now filled with twigs and sticks, "Where food bowl? Brutus knows how close it is to master bringing food" He rambled, his tail lashing in excitement.

"Hunting can be a bit stressful, but rewarding when you catch your prey." He told Brutus, watching as he walked around. The large lion neko observing the open world like a kid in a candy store. When Brutus looked up into the bright blue sky, he smiled softly and glanced up as well. "Wait until it gets dark. That's when it becomes beautiful." He said, continuing to lead him to find food. Keeping Brutus close, not wanting him to run off and get lost.

Brutus lashed his tail as he watched the other, slowly moving to follow him, "Hunting? Brutus never hunt" He said as he followed close the large male surprisingly clumsy as he bounded ahead of the other a bit, he wasn't used to so much open space, it took him a bit to notice the sky and how wide it was, he jumped and stared toward the bright blue, the ceiling of the enclosure he had was dark and he hadn't seen the sky for some time, the large male looking confused.

Ash continued to groom himself, cleaning his cunt and making sure he was nice and clean. When he was clean, he shifted and stretched himself out. "Come on, I'll teach you how to hunt." He said, shifting to press against the lion, tail wagging as he stepped past him and walked out. Glancing back to make sure Brutus was following along. Eager to have someone else to hunt with.

The large male continued to follow the other closely, finding a spot close to settle close to him once they found a spot to rest, his ears flicked lightly as he watched the other neko groom himself, he seemed to watch curiously, his current mindset he just wasn't the same, at least not yet, the large male lion neko tried to copy the other, trying to groom himself the same way, glancing up often to see if he was doing it right, a curious look on his face.
