Heronpaw eagerly spearheaded the apprentices, while Jetkit’s only reason for not turning tail was to make sure his siblings and his parents were alright. When she joined up, the male began to lead his warriors in a slow trot towards Meadowclan’s Camp.

Patchpaw followed nervously, trying to keep his pelt brushing with Stonepaw’s.

Stonepaw listened to his father, shuffling nervously. He’d been in a few skirmishes before, but this would be the first battle he ever joined.

Blackstar raised his kinked tail, signaling to his patrol to stop as the Meadowclan Camp cane into view. He’d had every one of his warriors rub themselves with wild onion and mud to mask their scents, which had allowed them to sneak practically under the noses of a hunting patrol. Turning to his patrol, which was practically his clan’s full fighting strength, he Mewed his commands.

“There will be no flanking maneuvers and no trickery involved here. We will brute force our way through their entrance and continue in a straight line from there until we reach the back wall. Once we do, their warriors will be split in half, and we can corner them against their own barriers.”

A quarter moon later, LakeClan was preparing to attack MeadowClan's camp. Those few who had doubts did not voice them, because Blackstar had been steadily growing more unstable since he had been rescued from ForestClan's clutches and did not take kindly to having his orders questioned.

Honeysong was giving orders to the few cats who were staying behind, which was only the two elders, the one queen, and the two kits. She thought they should be leaving behind at least two of the apprentices, but nope, not happening.

Swallowflight, Otternose, Stonepaw, and Patchpaw prepared for the battle.

(Edit: I was reading back through this RP and I realized that Swiftfoot and Robinstar probably qualify as psychopaths.

Blackstar fell asleep soon after, sandwiched in the warmth of the two cats he’d just mated with.
