The Broken Truce [Bacon]

He rolled his eyes and huffed softly, "Yeah yeah" He chuckled, stroking her hair softly.

"Don't tempt me" she smirked and teasingly ran her teeth over his thigh.

"Bite me" He grunted to her, chuckling and smiling toward her.

Delta giggled, "you were soft before even me baby" she smirked knowingly.

"You loosened the jar for her" He grunted lightly and laughed.

"she's going to turn you soft" she teased with a smile.

The male held their pup as he just watched her, smiling softly.

Delta smiled and rolled to her side watching the two of them.

He sat up and smiled as he held their daughter, looking down toward the infant.

Delta smiled at her mate, holding Grace out for him to hold her.

The male eventually gave up and he flopped onto their bed with a grunt.

Delta giggled at his expression, before looking back at Grace, who was now asleep.

He pouted as he watched her, grumbling lightly before resuming his paperwork.

Delta smiled over at him, “get back to work Mister...I’ll lwt you know if she does something cute”

He glanced to her and gave a soft chuckle.

Delta smiled at her mate, looking down at Grace who was looking up at her with interest.

Caspian smiled as he listened to his mate while signing paperwork, humming softly along with her.

Delta sat on the bed, holding Grace, humming to the pup gently.

Caspian had moved the majority of his office into the room while his mate slept, wanting to get at least some work done while making sure his mate and pup were safe.

Delta wasn't sure how much later she woke, but the sound of Grace moving had the female stretching and walking over, she quickly assumed the pup must be hungry- the healers had informed her that after eating for the first time babies usually slept quite a lot while the milk settled in their stomachs, once it had, they were usually hungry again, the female picked up Grace and nursed her.

He held her close and softly rubbed her back as he started dozing off.

Delta yawned, curling up against him and allowing her eyes to close.

He stroked her hair softly and gave a chuckle, relaxing there with her contently.

Delta grumbled at him and turned to rest her head in his lap, "your an ass, but i love you too"

"Love you" He said softly and nuzzled her, smiling softly.
