Hello Feline Friends

Hazelpaw slowly awoke, stretching out with a yawn. Blinking open her eyes, they shot wide open and she shot upright when she spotted the tom. “Yellowfoot?” She said hoarsely, looking disbelieving.

When she awoke, Hazelpaw was in a bright, starlit clearing. Across it was Yellowfoot, looking expectantly at the sleeping form of his former apprentice, his tail lashing.

Slowly, Hazelpaw started to relax, soothed by her former mentor’s presence, until she finally drifted off to sleep.

Yellowfoot didn’t speak, or appear visibly, but something about his mere presence relaxed the tension in the nursery, almost as if Hazelpaw’s former mentor was trying to lull her to sleep.

Hazelpaw stilled in surprise, making a pained, choking sound as her former mentor's scent enveloped her. "Yellowfoot?" She whispered.

As Hazelpaw tried to calm down, a familiar, comforting scent wound its way around the pair of sleeping apprentices. Graypaw was already out cold so he didn’t notice, but it was as if Yellowfoot was there in the nursery, standing guard over the pair of young apprentices.

Hazelpaw hid her face in Graypaw’s fur, her trembling gradually calming down.

Graypaw slept peacefully beside Hazelpaw, snuggling into his sister’s pelt even as she struggled to close her eyes.

(*ponders* Maybe!)

Trembling, Hazelpaw tried to gain comfort from her brother’s warm body, but it was difficult.

Graypaw was already asleep, and didn’t react to his sister’s return besides to press against her warmth, snuggling with Hazelpaw even in his sleep.

(Ooh, maybe Yellowfoot will appear in Hazelpaw’s dream and give her the courage she needs :3 )

Hazelpaw slunk back into the nursery, heading straight for her brother and curling up against his side. What little confidence she’d managed to get back with his help the past moon had almost entirely been lost in that one conversation with Nightstar.

Nightstar purred knowingly. “Make up your mind by bedtime.” With that, he turned and left his den, leaving one of his guards to escort Hazelpaw back to the nursery with her brother.

Hazelpaw didn’t know what to do, shrinking in on herself.

“So,” Nightstar purred, “What will it be?”

Hazelpaw flinched again at the very true reminder from him, swallowing. That was true. She was his slave and fucktoy anyway; she wouldn’t be changing a thing by making this deal.

Nightstar purred. “You know, I could just do what I suggested to you whenever I feel like it. Perhaps you should consider taking me up on my offer.” He knew from the onset that this request was fishy from Hazelpaw- but he wanted to play her game and see what she was getting up to. It would be entertaining.

“Never mind,” Hazelpaw whispered, taking another step back. “I-I’m Fine, I don’t need to learn herbs.”

Nightstar’s grin grew wider. “You seem hesitant.”

Hazelpaw flinched back from him. Yeah, no, she didn’t care what Thornstep had to say, nothing was worth that!

“You,” purred Nightstar, will let me take you deep into the woods, fully tied up, and play with you and your body all day. You get no say in what I do.” Nightstar Mewed, those being his conditions, terrifyingly vague.

Hazelpaw shrank back slightly when the tom smirked evilly, fear growing. She was certain she didn’t want to know what caused him to smirk like that.

“First off, after every visit to the medicine den you’ll allow me and one of my warriors to inspect you to ensure you aren’t stealing from our stores.” Nightstar mewled in a low, serious voice. “But that’s not the true price. As for that...” The tom smirked dangerously.

Hazelpaw peeked up at him uncertainly, her ears going back. If he thought she wouldn't like it, she likely wouldn't.

“...I think I have a suggestion. But you likely won’t like it.” Replied the tom after a moment of consideration.

Hazelpaw ducked her head, staring down at her paws.
