This Is Wrong But It Feels So Right (Stormwind)

“I think we need to stop now, and get rid of as much of this blood as we can.” Robinsong Murmured, pulling the cobwebs out of the Tom’s mouth in case they proved of use in the cleanup. “He’ll be in plenty of pain with what you did to his legs.”

Swiftfoot scowled down at the evidence the tom had left behind before dying, expression dark. “Should’ve made him suffer more,” she muttered.

Blackstar finally lost consciousness, his body going totally limp a few heartbeats later.

Robinsong huffed softly, looking down at the mess the tom had made with a sigh.

Swiftfoot hissed furiously, recognizing instantly what the tom had done, and lashed out, catching him across the muzzle and giving him just that little bit more of pain before he died.

Robinsong nodded. “I can’t disagree with that.”

Blackstar Gasped, turning his head slightly to the side. This caused pain to ripple from his neck wound as he twisted around and probably made it worse. The tom already knew he was going to die, however. And as his last act of defiance, his head turn made some of his blood fall from their branch and into the branches, leaving evidence of what they’d done scattered across multiple branches, the trunk, and the ground.

“He deserved it,” Swiftfoot said coldly, watching him choke on his own blood with a rather detached interest as she flicked her paw to get some of the blood off of it.

Blackstar’s yowl turned to gurgling rather quickly, the tom thrashing as he began to choke on his own blood. Robinsong watched with wide eyes. “I didn’t expect that,” mewled the She-cat, though she still watched on with a bored flick of her tail.

Swiftfoot curled her claws a little and then suddenly ripped them out of his throat, tearing through the skin.

Blackstar arched his back against the pain, his eyes widening further. The tom tried to choke something out around the cobwebs, but the sound that came out was too muffled to understand.

Swiftfoot slowly started to press down, her claws first pricking his skin then sinking in. While it was certainly painful and enough to make him bleed, it wasn’t enough to kill him, yet.

Blackstar swallowed against the paw, which felt awkward on his neck.

Robinsong looked on expectantly, figuring she knew exactly what Swiftfoot was going to do. The deputy didn’t point out that Swiftfoot had been the one to shoot down this exact idea earlier, knowing circumstances had changed since then. Blackstar had tried to defy them, and that was unacceptable.

Swiftfoot glanced up at Robinsong, casually placing a paw with unsheathed claws on Blackstar’s throat.

Robinsong watched curiously, grooming the blood off of her face where she’d been struck by Blackstar. “What are you going to do now?” She asked, almost casually.

Swiftfoot twitched slightly at the mention of her ‘friends.’ (Yeah, right. More like minions.) Her expression hardened a little more but she didn’t say anything, delicately taking her paw off of Blackstar’s tail and stepping up to his head.

“I only arrived afterwards. I was busy taking care of some of your friends who weren’t as swilling to switch sides. I hadn’t seen you work with my own eyes.” Robinsong explained, glancing over at the whimpering, broken mess Blackstar had become.

Swiftfoot cast Robinsong a dry look. “Weren’t you there when Miststar ‘recruited’ me?” She pointed out.

No, thought Blackstar, all his rational thoughts consumed by pure terror as he heard the first few snaps. When the main break came through the tom cried out into his cobwebs once more, knowing he’d been ruined, permanently.

Robinsong’s eyes glinted with interest. “I hadn’t seen this side of you before, Swiftfoot. I like it.”

Swiftfoot frowned at his thrashing form before swiftly pressing her paw down even harder, causing a few crunches to be heard before there was a louder crack.

Blackstar’s eyes widened when he realized what Swiftfoot was trying, The tom thrashing around in his restraints as he tried to worm his tail out from under the She-cat’s paw.

“That’s a fitting punishment,” purred Robinsong. Having a broken tail, something that would probably never heal right, would be an even more visible permanent marker of what had happened to the tom than the holes the two of them had bitten in his ears.

Unfortunately for Blackstar, Swiftfoot didn’t do very many things by accident and seemed to be determined to break his tail, too.

Blackstar perked his ears and looked down his body when he felt pressure on his tail closer to the tip than the base, thinking Swiftfoot had stepped on it accidentally.

Swiftfoot shrugged and placed a paw on his tail, slowly starting to press down.

Blackstar didn’t respond to Swiftfoot, instead gazing at his broken legs sadly.

Swiftfoot arched a kittybrow at the tom, smiling coldly. “Regretting it yet?”

The final, messy break broke Blackstar’s bone as well as his spirit. The tom cried out into the gag in his mouth, staring in horror at his leg as one half now sat at an entirely unnatural angle.
