Not Exactly to Code (Apprentice x Leader) [Bacon]

"Missed what?" Birchwing questioned, now lapping at her lower back and the top of the base of her tail.

She raised her hips and tail softly, letting out loud purrs and she smiled softly, "I missed this" She said quietly.

Birchwing nodded, then continued his licks, moving down her spine slowly as he groomed her back.

"A bit yeah" She murmured, pressing up against her mate and she purred softly.

Birchwing stood and moved over top of his mate, grooming all over the top of her head and behind her ears soothingly. "Sleepy, are we?" Purred the Tom between licks.

The she-cat gave a soft chuckle and she nuzzled her mate softly, lashing her tail and she yawned lightly.

"Doubtful, you know what you're doing, as you do with everything else." Birchwing purred in reply, grooming her behind the ears reassuringly.

Lavenderstar sighed lightly, her ears twitching, "Maybe I baby him too much..." She mewed quietly.

"Strange..." Birchwing replied, unconsciously curling his tail around Birchkit protectively as he looked Lavenderstar in the eye.

"The girls just don't like him for whatever reason, I swear before they were even born they were trying to kill him" She sighed, her ears drooping.

"Nothing too bad, just typical kit sparring." Birchwing replied, continuing to groom her luxurious coat of fur with his tongue.

"What about the girls? Did they attack him much?" She asked as she cradled the tiny tom kit between her paws and she groomed him.

"Birchkit wanted to go mountain climbing as normal, but beyond that not at all." Birchwing replied, standing up and beginning to groom Lavenderstar lovingly.

Later Lavenderstar came back and she purred softly when the kits came running to her, she groomed them and laid down to allow the kits to nurse, "They weren't trouble were they?" She asked her mate softly.

Birchwing returned to the nursery quickly and gathered all his kits together, forming a circle around them with his body.

"Get some rest" She mewed to him softly and she sighed, getting up and she went to talk with the elders to ask their opinions.

"Love you too, Lavenderstar." Birchwing replied quietly, padding towards the nursery to look after the kits and let Lavenderstar plan the clan's course of action.

"I love you Birchwing" She mewed softly and nuzzled him.

Birchwing nodded, looking up at her. "I'll try..."

"Just worry about yourself and the kits, let me do the worrying" She mewed softly.

Birchwing dipped his head, licking Lavenderstar's shoulder softly. "I'm worried, about you and about our clan and about our kits…"

"Birchwing, just let me worry about this" She mewed softly and she nuzzled her mage softly, her tail curling with his softly.

Birchwing pinned his ears, murmuring a "Right..." he looked down at his paws, deep in thought and worry.

"Tried that, but they lost that privilege after stealing two queens and slaughtering their kits so they'd go into heat" She said, her ears pinned, "They tried taking me as well, but I may have clawed the balls off the one and just left him to bleed out" She shrugged casually.

"Perhaps diplomacy is a better solution than shooing them off?" Birchwing suggested, hoping to take some of the load off of his lovely mate.
