Leader x Deputy (Open for anyone)

"I'm not helpless!" she spat. "And I'm the deputy of a rival Clan, why the heck do you care? Stop caring!" She lashed her tail.

Wolfstar stalked after her, his nose lifted in defiance. "He tried to kill you!" The leader protested. "What was I supposed to do? Let you die?"

Poppyflame gave Wolfstar a glare. "I didn't need your help!" she said hotly, starting to push Blazeheart to the camp.

Wolfstar allowed Poppyflame to push them appart, but remained hostile, his muzzle curled into a snarl as he glared at Blazeheart. "Dont you touch her!" He growled to the other tom.

Poppyflame finally regained herself and leaped forward to separate the two tons, managing it by the element of surprise. Standing between them, she whipped her head from side to side to glare at them.

Wolfstar let out a roar-like growl and charged at the tom, his claws raking by Blazeheart's muzzle. Blazeheart recoiled in pain but stood his ground, swipping his hind leg under Wolfstar to trip him. With a grunt of pain, the leader fell to the ground, but used his claws to push Blazeheart off of him. "You dare steal prey from my clan, you foxheart?" He snarled and batted at the younger toms stomach.

Poppyflame jerked back in shock, her green eyes wide as she watched, frozen, the two toms fight.

Blazeheart's eyes suddenly flashed. "Fine," he growled. "Then I guess Ill just have to kill you." He raised an unsheathed paw to strike her, but suddenly a gray and white tom bowled into him. It was Wolfstar. He had seen Blazeheart sneak out of camp and realized that Poppyflame would be in danger. So, he had escaped from his prison just to come and save her.

"You caused a battle between two Clans that killed our deputy," she pointed out icily. "You also broke the warrior code."

Blazeheart's muzzle trembled in an attempt to regain his sister's trust. "But..." he whined. "Im your brother!"

Poppyflame took a threatening step towards her brother, her hackles rising. "Because of you Nightstrike died, many others were injured, and we currently have the leader of StormClan in our camp!" She growled, her tail bushing out. "Rest assured I will be reporting you to Cloudstar."

Blazeheart's eyes widened. "Oh... Sister! How you doing? Fine day isn't it?" He chuckled, although he was very nervous. When he realized she wasn't buying what he said, he sighed. "Yeah, I'm sorry." He grumbled, "I just... I thought it would be good stealing from those fox hearts. They have less members than we do, anyway."

Poppyflame froze, staring at her brother and the prey in his jaws that reeked of StormClan. "...Blazeheart? Explain yourself." Her voice became icy cold, anger beginning to flicker in her eyes.

Wolfstar growled angrily in frustration, and snarled in rage at the nearest cat, which happened to be his guard. The warrior guarding him to make sure he wouldnt escape, cowered in fear. Wolfstar snorted in satisfaction and glanced away.

Blazeheart was out of camp, and had just been hunting in StormClan territory again. On his way back, he spotted his sister and new deputy, Poppyflame. He gasped as he realized he'd just been caught red handed,

Poppyflame stared coldly at Wolfstar for a moment before looking away, a clear sign of 'stay away from me.' As the Clan disbanded, she disappeared into the territory.

Wolfstar's eyes glistened with sadness. The one cat he had had a crush on now hated him, and not to mention he was now a prisoner of WinterClan. His gaze locked with hers, and his eyes sent a clear message: 'please believe me.'

Poppyflame followed her Clanmates' gazes to Wolfstar, her eyes now burning with hatred whereas before it had just been anger. To her, he was the reason her mentor was dead. Although she wished she could find who had taken his life.

Wolfstar couldn't help but smirk. "Poppyflame," he muttered under his breath. "That's a nice name." When he tried to get a better look, one of the guards slapped his muzzle, causing everycat's attention to turn on him.

Poppyflame was stony-faced, her grief for Nightstrike only showing in her eyes as she looked out across the Clan she was now deputy of.

Wolfstar woke up maybe an hour later to the sounds of cheers and cries. "Poppyflame! Poppyflame!" The clan cried. Curious, Wolfstar lifted his head out from his "prison' where the WinterClanners had put him. He gasped as he saw a the she-cat from earlier, standing in the position of where the deputy would normally sit.

Poppyflame entered the camp just a couple minutes before Wolfstar, just in time to help send StormClan packing. There were no victory cries from her, however, as she had spotted the body of Nightstrike, her former mentor and the deputy, and raced over.

(Oh shoot, my bad! Please pretend he didn't say that.)

Wolfstar sighed, not daring to chase after her. Instead he headed back towards the sound of battle. He heard the StormClan cats retreating, and when he entered their camp again, he realized that all of his clan was gone now. His eyes widened as bristling WinterClanners advanced towards him, surrounding him. He was all alone, and he wouldn't have any help. He heard one of the cats in the back yell, "get him!!!" And then everything went dark,

Poppyflame didn't stay a moment longer than she had to, shooting off towards WinterClan territory without a second's pause. She dashed through the snow and took shortcuts and secret pathways so Wolfstar couldn't follow her. 

(He didn't know her name :p)

"That's true," Wolfstar admitted. "But that doesn't mean he is good. Please believe me, Poppyflame." He whispered, hesitated before releasing the restrains. "Please."

Poppyflame glared at him, now hanging limp in her bindings as she had realized it was no use. It just caused more pain. "He is my brother," she hissed, low and venomous.
