Silverstar jerked awake at his words, ears pricked and eyes shining. "Really?"

He came back with food, "I found a place, we can go at sun high" He smiled.

Dawnkit was once again bouncing off the walls, having gotten over her sullen mood.

Silverstar dozed in the back of the hollow, exhausted.

As it started getting dark, Longfur left the two in a tree hollow and he went to get food.

Silverstar had been watching with amusement. She resumed walking when the two caught up with her.

Dawnkit trailed after them sullenly.

He huffed and walked beside his mate.

Dawnkit climbed off him sulkily.

"We'll you need to stop acting like a kit if your going to be an apprentice" He growled lightly.

Dawnkit whined. "No I'm not. I'm small for my age and I'm only six and a half moons!"

Longfur grunted and hit the ground, "Your too big for this" He grumbled, his ears back and tail thrashing.

She touched her nose to his ear and started walking.

Dawnkit climbed onto Longfur's back.

He helped Silverstar up and he purred loudly.

She jumped back up and ran over to them.

Silverstar flicked her tail.

"Come on we're leaving" He said to her then he walked to his mate.

She started rolling around on the earth.

He gave a soft chuckle, "Now your down" He said.

She whimpered and pushed off of the trunk, stumbling as she landed.

He rolled his eyes, "Fine, stay a fox length above the ground" He huffed and watched her.

Dawnkit shook her head, clinging to the trunk.

"You can jump now" He said from the ground.

She obeyed him, trembling.

"Keep looking up, and moving your paws down" He told her.

Dawnkit fearfully copied him, trying not to think about falling.

He moved to the side and hooked his claws into the tree, beginning to climb down.

"O-okay," she whimpered.
