Pokemon [Lovebird]

Blue watched the a single knee suddenly appeared, and he huffed in terror when a face suddenly looked in at them, a pokeball for trapping pokemon in his hand behind his back.

She arched her back, narrowing her eyes.

The human stopped at the entrance, only his feet visible to the two pokemon. It tapped its foot on the ground in a rhythm, as though contemplating something.

She kept silent, staring at the exit with wide eyes.

He pelted after her, squishing in beside her and hiding in the darkness as the human esposed himself into view and walked slowly to where they were hiding.

She shot into his den immediately.

"I'll be right behind you," he said without hesitation, not really sure if there would be room for him or not. "Now go!"

"What about you?" She whispered.

"Go, this way," he ordered quietly, standing beside her and pointing at his underground den.

Ember's eyes widened and she jumped to her paws.

Blue smelt the threat before either of them saw it. "It's a human," he whispered, terrified.

She turned her head towards the sound, ears pricked.

"Seriously though, you complain sooo much." His ears suddenly perked when he heard snapping twigs in the distance.

She whined, rolling onto her back and batting at him

Gingerly, he reached over and lifted the paws off, trying not to laugh.

She put her paws over her muzzle, ears twitching.

"Pishh, we practically lived in the same place anyway. My territory is yours now too."

She huffed. "I really liked my territory."

"I know you aren't angry!" he challenged her playfully, "You just like to pretend your grumpy."

She stiffened at the mention of the earlier incident, growling slightly.

"Good," he purred out, licking the back of her neck. Mischief glittered in his eyes as he said, "Wow, I burnt down your territory, and now we're mates!"

She nuzzled into his fur, which was basically an answer.

He curled himself around her, confidently holding her in his forelegs. "Then I have the honor of being the first one to love you. Is that okay?"

She nodded, looking away from him.

He looked at her, surprised. "You mean that they love you?"
