Taming The Villian [Storm]

“You’re meant to be healin’,” called an annoyed-sounding stable hand from somewhere unseen in reply to Lyria’s banging.

The mare snorted and watched him go, her tail swishing and she paced slightly in her stall, tossing her head in agitation, the druid didn't want to be locked up in the stall for a long time, beginning to kick and paw at the stall door in an attempt to free herself.

Alric left the stables for now, having matters to attend to besides an injured, useless prisoner.

Lyria watched him, letting out a snort and she nibbled on some hay.

Alric seemed mostly content to leave her alone in that stall now. Clearly, it had been used by a horse of great importance, and maybe more recently than the wolf let on to the Druid.

Lyria examined the stall, sniffing around before finding a comfortable spot and she laid down, her ears flicking about.

Lyria was loaded onto the cart and carried off back to Alric’s estate, where she was tied up in a much more comfortable stable than she had been previously shown. This one was covered in not only straw, but lavish materials like silk lined the bedding as well.

The mare tossed her head lightly and followed him, her ears back lightly.

Eventually, another cart came, and the wolf started to lead Lyria into it.

Lyria shook herself off, moving about the stall with a limp and she began eating some hay, watching her "master".

Alric thanked the doctor, then set about hailing another wagon to transport the Druid back to his home.

She snickered to herself as she watched, raising her head.

Sighing, the wolf reached for his coin purse, the doctor holding his hand out expectantly for his handsome payment from the famous knight.

The mare grinned inwardly, knowing she would have to stay like that until she healed, and he wouldn't be able to do much to her at all, she slowly moved to a pail of water and started drinking.

Alric snorted with frustration when he was told essentially the same thing by the other man he was speaking to. Now she was stuck in feral form. What was he supposed to do with her now?

Lyria snorted and shook her mane out, she knew while healing she'd have to pick one form or the other, she wouldn't be able to shift between since it would constantly reopen her wounds.

Alric turned his back to Lyria, speaking with the doctor and informing him of her ‘special’ circumstances of being a Druid in feral form.

Lyria was eventually bandaged completely and she shook herself out slightly once the twitch was off her nose and the hobbles off her legs, she stayed pressed back into the corner with pinned ears, unsure of the group.

Alric watched silently with a frown, his arms crossed.

Once in the stall, Lyria was able to stand while leaning against a wall and she snorted nervously, her ears pinning and tail swishing as her wounds were being cleaned, she tossed her head whenever she felt pain, raising her leg to kick a few times, resulting in her legs being hobbled and a twitch put on her nose to keep her in place as her wounds were tended.

Alric commandeered The cart, not stopping until they’d arrived at the veterinarian for the royalty of the kingdom. Together, the vet, the wolf, and his assistants unloaded the horse into a comfortable stall covered in a thick layer of hay, where the other man began to examine the horse.

The mare became quite flighty as she had been heaved onto the cart, Lyria snorted out, giving up and just laying there.

The next he could, Alric flagged down a passing cart, and, with a little ingenuity and help from the two men riding on it, was able to load the horse into the cart. They sped through town, making a beeline for the wolf’s residence.

Alric stepped behind Lyria, drawing his sword and watching the mate’s back with a wary eye.
