Aquatic Love [Storm]

Adam partly surfaced, swimming in his typical, bored circles so the staff wouldn't see that something was up with him as he kept an eye out for the humans.

Keep an eye out, I'll keep getting this, its almost loose enough He clicked while swimming back to the other side of the tank.

Wordlessly, Adam did the same, succeeding in further loosening the net, nervously watching the water's edge above and hoping they wouldn't be caught.

Easily He clicked and swam to the other side of the tank, going up to take a breath before he swam as fast as he could toward the net, crashing his body against the net, loosening it some.

Yeah, but how do we get to the ocean from here? Adam sighed wistfully, glancing out and wondering what laid beyond.

He huffed while watching him, Why would they do that? It isn't right He chirped, nosing against a net blocking them from the ocean, Hey, this leads to the ocean He clicked excitedly.

Theyve trained each of us to do different tricks. That is why we are separate.. To show him, Adam swam down to the bottom of the tank before angling himself sharply upwards, getting ready to perform his part of the act for the other male.

Why? We're supposed to be together He huffed out, swimming around the surface and examining the tank.

They were part of a circle of identical tanks, arranged like flower petals around a solid center. they separate us into each of these, though.

He tilted his head and followed him, surfacing and taking in a breath.

They call us a pod. Adam clicked back, surfacing to point something out to the other male.

What do you mean? Did you not have a pod? He asked, nosing the other's side lightly, The humans took me from mine after I got stuck in something, they chased my pod away He explained.

I-I've never lived with anyone before, so I don't know. Adam stammered, clearly still a little worried even though the new dolphin seemed amiable towards him.

The larger male caught up and he started swimming around the other to investigate him, Its nice to finally have another of our kind around. He clicked while swimming beside him, not looking aggressive toward the smaller male, mainly aggressive to the humans.

hm? the trained dolphin clicked back, slightly intimidated by the much larger, intimidating-looking male swimming towards him.

The wild male huffed and swam around, spotting the other and he clicked at him, starting to swim toward the other dolphin, slowly rising to the surface and taking a breath before following after the male, clicking and calling to him.

Adam swam up to the water where the trainers were setting something up, clicking and rearing his head above the water curiously. When the large male splashed down the trained male dashed away rapidly through the water, slightly startled by the large splash.

The handlers hoisted something up and lowered it into the water with the other dolphin, a large dark coloured male dolphin that had been brought in from the wild a few months ago, he had been injured when he came in and now he was completely healed, scars littered his body and he started clicking as soon as he was put into the water, he slapped the water with his tail and darted away from the humans, taking in a breath and diving to the bottom of the tank.

Clicking softly as he swam in idle, bored circles within his glass-walked enclosure, Adam, named for a former trainer at the sea life park, tried simply to pass the time until tomorrow, where there would be yet another daily routine of shows and lectures for him to do.
