Lavenderstar purred as she continued sharing the meal with her mate.

Birchwing pressed his pelt up against hers and then took his next bite, curling his tail around hers and purring.

The queen purred, nuzzling her mate and she took her turn, lashing her tail softly.

Birchwing nodded and leaned down, eagerly taking a quick bite of the rabbit before stepping back for her to eat next.

"You eat first" She said softly, setting the rabbit down and she nuzzled her mate happily.

“Well done,” Birchwing purred, carefully standing up to avoid disturbing the kits before rubbing muzzles with his mate.

The she-cat came back after a short time, carrying a rabbit and she purred loudly.

Birchwing nodded, watching his mate leave their temporary den.

"I'll try to stay within ear shot" She purred, nuzzling her mate as she stood, slowly creeping out of their hiding place before she padded off to hunt.

Birchwing nodded, using his tail to sweep the kits from their mother’s belly to his.

The she-cat purred and groomed their kits softly, nuzzling her mate and leaning against him, "I can go hunting before we head out again if you want" She purred softly.

Birchwing purred softly, scooting over to look a little more closely at the adorable little fluffballs curled up with their mother.

"Sleeping" She gave a tired chuckle as she looked to their kits.

“How are the kits?” Asked the tom softly, glancing down to his lover’s belly to see for himself.

She purred and nuzzled her mate softly, grooming his face.

Birchwing planted a lick on her muzzle, smiling softly over at his mate as she awoke.

Lavenderstar wasn't asleep for long before she woke back up and she yawned loudly.

Birchwing watched his mate and his kits with an affectionate look and a quiet purr. Lavenderstar was so beautiful when she slept, her flank Rising and falling rhythmically.

She nuzzled him and purred, cuddling up to him before letting herself doze off.

Birchwing nodded, giving Lavenderstar an affectionate lick on the muzzle as he took his turn keeping watch.

"I let you get some extra sleep, time to switch watch" She purred softly to her mate.

Birchwing blinked awake, not immediately aware of his surroundings. He wondered why Lavenderstar had woke him, lifting his head.

It was a while before the she-cat gently nudged her mate, trying to wake him, "Birchwing... Birchwing" She cooed softly in his ear.

Birchwing nodded, laying his head down and letting his eyes fall closed without any protest.

Lavenderstar nuzzled her mate softly and she gave a soft purr, "Get some sleep, I'll keep watch" She purred to her mate.
