Her Almost Romeo, His Almost Juliet [Ash]

Snowbell shivered as she noticed the male coming closer, purring loudly, "My parents were rogues, a sickness made them go mad, I had to get away" She said.

"and where is your pride Snowbell?" he questioned, stepping forward a little instinctually.

Shir gave a light huff, but stayed quiet, watching the female, who stepped back and looked toward the male, "Snowbell" The white furred female purred loudly as she lashed her tail.

Trey jolted when the female moved toward him, he had been more concerned about Shir, when the female started rubbing against him he stood his ground, keeping himself from growling but making no move to encourage the female. "What's your name" he demanded.

Shir walked behind him, glancing to their covered den, knowing the cubs would be fine, walking toward the other female as she stayed beside her mate.

The young female looked up toward the older sabers, upon seeing the male she bounded over and purred, rubbing against the male.

Trey seemed to relax at her offer, nodding, "alright" the male seemed much more comfortable with this plan, nuzzling his mate and walking over slowly toward the female.

"Trey don't force yourself.. Maybe we could just talk to her" She said, not wanting to force him to have another female if he didn't want to, her ears twitching as the younger female continued her desperate calls for a male.

Trey watched her closely, "if this is what you want. I'll do it, but let me be clear, i don't want multiple females" he told her sternly.

"Some lead males in prides have multiple females, Trey its fine" She said softly and nuzzled him.

Trey nuzzled her in thanks when she assured him, casting a look back at the female, his strong resolve seemed to be slipping, worrying that maybe she was right.

She leaned into him lightly, letting out a breath, "you'll never lose me.. Ever" She said softly.

Trey padded over to her, nuzzling her side, feeling bad, "I'm sorry" he told her, "i didn't mean to snap...it's just, i can't loose you. nothing's worth loosing you..." he nuzzled her again,

Shir backed down and gave a small whimper, "I-I'm sorry... I just thought... Nevermind.." She said quietly, sitting and hanging her head.

"not like this" he growled, he narrowed her eyes at her, "if our situations were reversed i wouldn't let you mate with a male even if i would stand to see us with more members" he growled.

Shir backed off, lowering her head and pinning her ears, "You did say we needed pride members.." She murmured.

Trey looked at Shir in shock, "not a chance" he growled, shoving Shir back and keeping himself between her and the female.

"Trey... This might be a way for us to start adding to the pride.." She said quietly, looking to her mate.

The white female looked about, calling out desperately, rubbing against anything close to her.

Trey's eyes narrowed in on the female once he spotted her,his nostrils flared sooner than Shir's did, smelling the scent of the female's heat the male stood but didn't approach her, instead, he stationed himself in front of his mate protectively.

"It was a female Trey.." She murmured, looking around as she sat up, "Younger than us.." She said, looking as a white mass walked out of the treeline, a young saberess, solid white, looked about, calling again, she was in heat, very late in the season, Shir could smell the other female's heat scent.

Trey sat upright, ears perking at the calls, Trey emitted a low growl, casting his eyes back toward the cave worriedly.

She purred as she stayed with him, ears perking as she heard distant growls and calls, from a female saber, "Trey.." She murmured softly, looking to her mate.

Trey layed down beside his mate, purring loudly at her before rolling onto his side playfully.

Shir purred and nuzzled her mate softly, licking his face.

Trey purrrd at her commenting, “too long” he replied, kneading her fur gently with his claws he continued to gently groom and clean her.

"Its been a while since its just been us" She cooed and purred, nuzzling her mate and she returned his licks.
