Zombie Cat Apocalypse (Bacon)

Ariana blinked at the tom, finishing her squirrel, then started to groom her fur.

Angel groomed herself, glaring toward the tom assigned to her as he tried to come up onto the bed.

She blinked at her, continuing to eat.

"Let me know if you want anything else" She mewed.

She started to eat the squirrel, purring gratefully.

"Here" The white she-cat said and nosed the food to her.

Blinking open her eyes, Ariana lifted her head.

"I brought food" Angel said softly from beside Ariana.

Ariana didn't wake up until the next, awakening with a yawn.

Angel softly purred and she laid down.

She slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Rest with your kits, I'll stay up" She mewed softly.

"I am Ariana," she said quietly, closing her eyes.

"Angel" She mewed and continued to groom Ariana, hoping to give her some comfort, "It'll take time, but he should get better" She said.

Ariana sighed deeply. "Not without treatment." She glanced at the she-cat. "What is your name, anyway?"

The she-cat moved to Ariana and softy groomed her, treating her like a sister, "Stay here as long as you like, my brother will get better soon" She said.

She gazed off into the distance, her eyes shadowing with grief as memories swam in them.

"He never used to be like this, he was the sweetest tom there ever was, but after our mother got the infection he changed" She said.

She rested her head on her paws, flicking an ear. "Before I met Ryder I'd never even thought about this stuff."

"Trust me, I know, that's why I go for she-cats" The white feline mewed and laid down.

She bowed her head, sighing. "Toms are so confusing."

"He's just trying to make you happy, he knows that you don't want him to leave, and he doesn't want to leave, but he feels he needs to go so he can get better for you" She explained.

Her fur bristled. "Then he has to go to the Twolegs!"

"They're gone, after I got the kits out he freaked and rampaged in the room, they didn't see it though" She informed.

"The herbs I left behind," she atarted, "are they still okay? Now that he's refusing to go to the Twolegs, it's the best we have. The lavender can help his fever."
