Zombie Cat Apocalypse (Bacon)

He gave a light chuckle and took her to their room.

Too tired to protest, she rested her head on his back and dozed off.

His ears flicked and he turned, carrying her on his back, it was harder for him to walk but he managed.

She trailed after him, occasionally stumbling over something but doing so more frequently the darker it got.

He nodded and started leading her back.

She nodded, her tail and ears drooping slightly from tiredness.

"Want to head back?" He asked her, glancing around.

After a while of cavorting around the forest, she started to get tired, and it started getting darker.

He followed behind her, continuing to keep an eye out.

She nodded, drawing back and bounding off again.

"Do you want to keep going?" He asked her.

She smiled slightly, pressing against him. "Oh. Okay."

He got up and moved to her, licking her nose, "I'm not mad" He said.

"Okay...," she said, looking a little downcast.

"Just try not to make a lot of noise, I don't know how many turned are in the area" He said.

Her ears slowly flattened at his grumpy tone and she went back down onto all four paws.

"Am I not allowed to watch you?" He grunted.

She paused, blinking at him. "What?"

He looked toward her, his tail flicking.

Running over to a tree, she stretched up and faked her claws down the bark, sharpening them.

The tom's ears flicked and he looked around, keeping an eye out for anything, especially turned.

Stretching out luxuriously on the ground, she sprang to her paws.

He caught up to her and he sighed, sitting down while she rolled in the ferns.

She paused for a moment to sniff at a hole in the ground before skipping onward, pausing to roll in some ferns.

He rolled his eyes and followed as fast as he could manage.
