This Is Wrong But It Feels So Right (Stormwind)

Swallowflight whined softly, tilting her head to try and keep her grasp on his paw, but the angle was too awkward and she was forced to let go.

"Oh, so you want something in there. Well, I think we can manage that, Swallowflight." Blackstar purred, smirking playfully at the female as he changed angles, scooting around her front end to put his paw in such a place that Swallowflight had to keep her head at an awkward angle to keep a grip on it, the tom purring playfully as he watched her.

(Lucky. We've had annual floods since three years ago)

Swallowflight blinked innocently at him around his paw, not letting go.

(That's good. I live in a place that has had zero natural disasters since the 1970's, so that's nice.)

Blackstar narrowed his heterochromatic eyes at Swallowflight as she gently chewed on his forepaw. "If you're not careful, miss, I'll be filling that cute muzzle of yours with something else pretty soon here." The Tom teased lightly, tugging his paw a few times to get it out while he smirked knowingly over at his mate.

(Yeah. We were worried for a while that my house would flood, as even though we have a really high levee the river was supposed to get high enough that if the levee failed even just the slightest bit, we'd have a lot of water rushing down at us. And we're kind of in a bowl, which is bad. Luckily, the river was like three-four feet below what they thought it would be)

Swallowflight smirked and caught his paw in her mouth, nomming it.

(No worries, I'm glad you and your family are safe.)

"Hey!" Blackstar chuckled, feigning indigence as he batted playfully at her muzzle in return.

(Sorry for not being on today; I was helping my grandparents with their house, which was flooded. We were all hit by Hurricane Harvey. And my asthma is acting up now, ugh.)

Swallowflight settled herself beside him, but not before swatting his muzzle. "I suppose you do."

Blackstar's loud purr was interrupted by his own, chortling laughter. "What?" The tom mewled innocently, looking up and away as if he had no idea what the issue was, a giant grin on his face betraying his gaze. "At least I'm showing I pay attention." Purring softly, the male sat down comfortably.

Swallowflight blinked in surprise when she looked around, recognizing the clearing. She let out an amused purr. "Really, Blackstar?"

"I love you too, Swallowflight." Purred the tom, eagerly rubbing the scent glands on his cheek all over hers. Finally, they broke through the low brush and emerged into a flower-filled clearing, which had been the place where Blackstar had taken the pretty she-cat's virginity. It had likely once been a place where a medicine cat of generations past cultivated herbs, which explained why it was filled with such a variety of plants, all of which were now flowering spectacularly in the warm greenleaf air.

Swallowflight purred softly, stretching her neck to brush her nose against his ear. "I love you, Blackstar."

Blackstar smirked softly as he lead them in a particular direction, hoping Swallowflight wouldn't notice where she was being lead just yet. The male relished in the silence between them as their fur rubbed together, creating a pleasurable friction between their fur that made him pull her even closer.

Their fur brushed as they walked, they were so close together. Swallowflight hummed softly, enjoying the walk through the quiet, peaceful forest.

Blackstar curled his tail tightly around Swallowflight's, pushing the thoughts that troubled him out of his mind for now as he set the pace for the pair, a nice, slow, meandering walk for now. After all, the tom thought to himself with a snicker, wouldn't want us using all of our energy now if this goes the way I think it's going to.

Swallowflight curled her tail around his and looked around the forest(?) and up st the clear night sky.

Blackstar purred softly, butting his head into Swallowflight's shoulder as she exited the nursery. He refrained from speaking until the pair had left the camp, at which point he mewled "I don't think it could possibly be more lovely out for a walk."

Carefully extricating herself from the nest, Swallowflight waited a few more moments to make sure the kits had not woken up before leaving the den.

Blackstar poked his head inside and gave her a quick nod, not wanting to enter and rile everyone up again. He waited just outside the den for Swallowflight, images of what they could get up to tonight making him shudder.

Swallowflight was just managing to get the kits to settle down and go to sleep, as all kits always got a small energy boost before bedtime.

As night fell, Blackstar finally returned to the nursery, peeking inside to see if Swallowflight was ready.

Swallowflight watched him leave briefly before returning her attention to her kits.

The clan deputy padded through the entrance to camp, and Blackstar sighed softly as the other male locked eyes with him. "I'll be back later, if not soon than tonight for our walk." The male purred loudly, licking the top of Swallowflight's head and saying bye to his kits for now before padding alongside the deputy, the pair moving to talk in Blackstar's den.

Swallowflight smiled at him sweetly, licking his cheek before turning to watch her kits again.

Blackstar took her response to mean yes, and purred loudly as he planted a lick on the top of his mate's muzzle. "I'm looking forward to it already," he suggestively cooed, as Heronkit's ran by with a moss ball dangling from her mouth, looking back at her pursuing brother's superiorly.

Swallowflight blinked innocently. "Whatever makes you think that?" She purred.
