"Of course not!" She cried, stunned by the suggestion.

"How does it work? Can you show me?" He asked with a tilted head and he moved a little closer out of curiosity.

"StarClan, this is difficult," she groaned, facepawing. She'd never had an apprentice so she had no idea how to mentor someone, and this particular topic was mortally embarrassing anyway. Taking a deep breath, she pushed her feelings away and started to explain mating as quickly and clearly as possible.

His ears flicked and he listened to her, completely clueless, "So it is a game because kits always play games" He mewed with a smile, "What do I have to do?" He asked her.

She muttered something inaudible before taking a deep breath to speak, "All right, so, what you saw those cats doing was mating. It's how kits are made," she added, before he could ask.

The young tom jerked back as she swiped at him and his ears drooped, "What is it then?" He asked, sitting down.

She swiped at his paw, annoyed. "First off, we need to make this quick as the guard thinks I'm just taking a short walk and I'll be in huge trouble if we get discovered. And second, it's not a game."

Spiritpaw bounded over and poked her with a paw from behind, "I did it" He mewed happily, his tail swaying, "Can you show me the game now?" He asked with a tilted head.

Raindaopple was waiting for Spiritpaw, her tail nearly curled around her paws.

As night fell and their meeting time was nearing, Spiritpaw slipped out of a hole in the nursery wall and he bolted for their meeting place, getting there at moonhigh panting heavily.

The elegant she-cat had a slightly better reception than Spiritpaw, but was still scolded by her father, Talonstar. He expected a lot from her, and was disappointed in the single rabbit.

He watched her then turned and began walking back to camp, once he had gotten there he was scolded for not coming back with anything and he was sent to the nursery yet again to sleep there.

She shot him a smug look, vanishing into the tall grass that covered the meadows of HawkClan.

He jumped a fox length into the air as she rushed forward, he gave a small freaked out hiss and he landed a couple fox lengths away.

Her ears twitched at his rambling and she darted forward to snatch up the rabbit.

His ears drooped back and he sighed, "I can try... The warriors never let me outside at night... They think since my parents were rogues that I'll betray them... But I wanna know what the game is so I'll try my best to sneak out" He rambled on and on as he tossed the rabbit over the border.

She lashed her tail. "I'm not doing it now. Meet me here tonight, at moon-high."

His ears perked and he jumped up, "Okay, what am I supposed to do first? And what is the point of the game?" He asked, completely oblivious.

She hissed angrily. "Fine, I'll do it," she spat. Were all LeafClan cats this annoying?

"I guess I'll have to go tell the patrol then, and I can brag about how I beat up a cat from another clan" He yammered on and on.

She winced, looking away. Should she?

His head tilted and he looked so innocent, he had no clue what he had asked for, "It looked fun when I watched them, I also got a weird feeling here-" He said and placed a paw on his sheath, his tail twitching at the contact, "Will you do it?" He asked.

Raindapple recoiled, eyes widening in shock. "W-what?" She spluttered. He wanted her to teach him mating?

"You would have to teach me something that I saw two cats doing, I don't know what it is but they looked happy, the tom was over the she-cat and they were moaning a lot" He explained, his white ears flicking.

The silver-spotted, black she-cat narrowed her icy blue eyes in suspicion. "What would I have to do?"
